All we need to do is get rid of that trash JALEN green and we will be in the finals right now. Had green played halfway decent, we won't be in this position. Just trade his ass for someone better

I'm good with trading Sengun for Giannis - definitely an upgrade for us! It just depends on what that package looks like to get Giannis.

And how we address shooting as well.

    3 point shooters.
    Free throw shooters.

ahhh - my bad. I missed that context! I'm kind of shocked that Fred shot that high on catch and shoot 3s - I'll have to look into how those percentages change when you factor in how close the defender is. 40% on all catch and shoot 3s seems high to me but if people don't bother closing out on him, I could see that being about right as a "wide open shot" metric.

    Sign Lopez Brooks in FA

    C- Lopez 37% 3pt shooter
    F- Giannas
    F - Jabari 40% 3pt shooter
    G - Jalen 35% 3pt shooter
    G - Thompson

The problem with the Rockets was their offensive system, not so much as the players. They just didn't shoot that many 3s and the offense was about REBOUNDING missed shots! That's not an offense

You think the corpse of Brook Lopez can still play? Come on man. He was unplayable in the playoffs this year and his inability to stay on the floor was a big reason why they got demolished in the first round. I totally agree with you that we need a center that can defend and shoot 3s to play next to Giannis (if we trade for him), but Lopez is not it.

Star chasing is going to set this franchise back. Amen and Alpi should be the core.

Jabari can play the center position too. You can play

    C- Jabari
    F- Giannas
    F- Tari/Brooks
    G- Jalen
    G- Amen

Also, I liked the way Dante looked too in a backup role

Sengun was played one on one and Jalen was doubled. Sengun definitely didn't play that well actually

LOL "Sengun definitely didn't play that well"

Some of you kids just need to give up on trying to watch basketball, you clearly have no clue what you are seeing.

His efficiency was azz. Aren't you a numbers guy? Or is that only when analyzing Jalen Green

Rewatch the series. It is true that at times Jalen was doubled, or even blitzed; however, this is so overblown. He was not always doubled. He had plenty of opportunities to take his man off the dribble in one-on-one coverage and did nothing with them. On the other side, ALP was mainly defended by Draymond, who is still an awesome post defender especially against ALP because ALP cannot bully-ball Draymond. Donkey basically mirrored ALP's minutes, and when Draymond was out, GS did double ALP. Cannot compare the two. One being guarded by an all-defense HOF and the other by Steph, Pods, and Hield.

ALP still helped on offense in all of the 7 games, while Jalen only showed up in 1. We needed Jalen to score. That is his main responsibility.

The self-delusion is hilarious. There is a reason other teams are pining for Sengun in a trade and not Jalen.

Screw Giannis and trading our team away for a 30+ year old. I’d rather lose with Alpi than win with Giannis.

That's kinda a silly view, it's not like you're drafting randomly. If sengun was offered for flagg, obviously everyone would laugh for hours on end at the lunacy. I doubt the spurs trade 2 for sengun.

Yes, his scoring efficiency was pretty awful....but there's more to basketball than that when it comes to players capable of more than that.

He played elite level defense, grabbed nearly 12 boards a game while picking up 5 assists per game....

If you look at the numbers, he was the ONLY player on the roster to be consistently good in 6 of 7 games. Everyone else only had 3 or 4 good games....and some, like Jalen, was only good in 1 game.

He was basically carrying a bunch of scrubs most of the series.

No one said Sengun for #1, they said #2....Flagg isn't available at #2.

If the Spurs offered #2 for Sengun, everyone on the Rockets would laugh at them for hours on end at the lunacy.
