Forget the sneaker, Giannis needed every single other serious contender in the playoffs that year to suffer a major injury (or two) to get that cakewalk to a trophy. It was luckier than even any of the Warrior's titles pre 2022.

But yeah, sports fans and talking heads will forgive almost anything once an MVP caliber player has a ring.

It's insane to me that there are people who wouldn't give up Sengun for Giannis.

That’s what I thought during the Harden drama. It was constant unnamed sources. But turns out there was some truth to them. Not all sources are dependable or good but when it becomes overwhelming and consistent stream of reporting there might be some smoke there. Too early to tell

It can’t. Even the Wemby Giannis combo is weird to me but Wemby is a stretch 5.

When Giannis posts in the low or mid post area where is Sengun going? He likely would have to be on weakside bloc or short corner. I can see Sengun operating in high post giving them a high and low option but when there’s no low option then what? Giannis goes to opposite bloc and re sets or comes and screen for Sengun? When Giannis tries to drive from the elbows or FT line where does Sengun go? I can’t see where this offense works especially when they both need the ball. Who is the hub? Is the offense ran thru Giannis or Sengun?

if my league source told me the Bucks might be higher on a Jalen Green based trade, I wouldn’t even publish that sh*t because I’d know I’m getting played and made to look like a fool

“league source” is texting his buddies in the group chat laughing at the person he got to write this article

Both Jalen and Sengun played in the same system. Jalen played bad but Sengun played great.

Not only that Sengun is an all star while Jalen isnt. Contract wise Sengun locked up for 5 yrs, Jalen only has a 2+1 with a player option. I highly doubt any sane team will prefer Jalen over Sengun.

I dont think it is unbelievable Rox would be willing to trade Sengun for Giannis, what makes this a pack of crap is somehow Bucks prefer Jalen to Sengun.

It iant your money but you wont be laughing when Stone starts nickle diming the roster and trading everyone away for vet minimums and rookie deals. Look at Nuggets.

What an absolute suprise - A thread about ALP has now been overrun with Jalen talk from the few remaining Jalen-stans. Do you guys have to ruin all good discussions with the same BS?

Bruh the article also has Jalen in it. in fact it is claiming Bucks prefer Jalen over Sengun so if anything this is a Jalen thread its just making the title "Rox willing to part with Jalen to get Giannis" is gonna get a "no ****, Sherlock" from people.

Haven't seen anyone saying that. Maybe a few ALP-only fans, which don't count. For the most part we are against the totality of the hypothetical trade packages.

ALP, Tari/Bari, Cam and 5 FRPs plus swaps? Dude, that leaves almost nothing left to build a team around Amen and Giannis. Still some decent guys left yet a horrible fit together.

Bromigo, you're not wrong; I think the intent of the OP was to talk about ALP in the mix. Just because it's in the article does not make it the focus of the thread.

We already have one dedicated thread of 750 pages where all these Jalen talking point can be repeated over and over. It's been beaten to death already. Let it RIP.

Every thread does not need to be warfare over the merits of Jalen Green. Shiooot, man. Offseason is already long enough.

Lol yeah and no **** Sherlock is right.

    Salud.

The Bucks aren’t getting eight or nine first-round picks worth of value for Giannis by himself. If that’s the price, he stays in Milwaukee. The Thunder wouldn’t even pay that.

That's what I would think. We have no idea what the asking price will be, but fans are throwing out packages like this. Hell, Even Jackson from LOR thinks it will cost ALP and two or there more young guys plus all the picks. Pure insanity.

No he's not, Hakeem was a supreme athlete, go watch his block highlights. Hakeem's closer to Amen than Alpi tbh, except he shoots better than both and was a vastly superior player. Silly comparison.

I find the chances of Giannis being a Rocket next season quite low. Quote this post and ridicule me if I turn out to be wrong.
