Our lineup (like many others) isn’t gonna do anything against elite pitching. Especially since our only elite hitter isn’t playing.
Astros lineup has done the impossible. Allowed DeGrom to go 8 innings for the first time since Diddy's first freakoff.
Not even mad about this one. Probably should have a couple runs based on some of the contact we’ve made…they made some nice plays. Desperately need Yordan back and another lefty bat at the deadline.

Yordan being injured doesn't help but the team should know you have to prepare for Yordan missing some time, he gets injured for a stretch each year mostly. What's killing the team is another free agent 1B dud. Walker has not been anywhere near good enough and still hits in the cleanup spot leaving all kinds of people on base.
