Give them Sengun, Sheppard and Jabari and let's go !!

Jabari extension starts at $30M and I don't think the Rockets want to pay that out for Jabari.

    Tari extension runs around $17M

Rockets can help replace Jabari with drafting Rasheer Fleming or Carter Bryant

    Roster:
    Amen...J Green...Dillon/Tari / (Carter Bryant/Rasheer Fleming)....Giannis.....Steven Adams (re-sign)

Why Dillon? He was arguably our best shooter this season.

Yeah, no **** Rockets are willing to trade ALP for Giannis for the right price. Amen is untouchable per the Rockets, and Jalen Green has been atrocious. If the Rockets really believe that Amen is going to be a top-10 player in the league, then why would they pursue a superstar now like Giannis who is a terrible fit. Even if Amen becomes a respectable shooter, his best skill will still be his downhill pressure just like Giannis.

Be patient. Build around Amen. Get shooters. Find another playmaker. Trade ALP if necessary to accomplish this, but don't mortgage the house and sell your kids for a 31-year-old superstar that does not fit with Amen and leaves very little to build around the two after a trade. Giannis requires a very specific roster build and if not, teams will build the Giannis Great Wall in the paint just like GS did with us. Rockets should only ever empty the treasure trove for a superstar who is at least about to enter his prime or just has like a Luka or maybe Ant.

Do not see any of the proposed Giannis trades improving the Rockets to the point where they will be favorites or even Bonafide contenders. The window will be very short. Giannis is not a KD or LeBron where late into their 30s be at a superstar to star level. Look at Westbrook's fall off. Similar archetype just in a guard's body.

    Make is make sense.

Because he was bottom 15 in the league among qualified players in FG% and he was 143rd out of 204 in the league in TS%

His 3 point percentage was very good, identical to Steph Curry actually, but that's essentially the only thing he did well on offense.

Now of the 3, Brooks was the best, but when you are that good at 3's and STILL your TS% is one of the worst in the league, it means you are REALLY awful at everything else. Also, in a perfect world, Amen plays over him.

I hate to break it to you, but we've got to call it like it is. That's just not the reality.

I have no issue giving up Sengun in a trade. I just don’t want Giannis at all man.

Why is trading Sengun for Giannis so unbelievable or unacceptable? If Bucks want a star to build around then getting Sengun plus other players like Reed, Cam, Bari, or Smith included in the deal is a possibility. Quid pro quo. They aren’t just handing over Giannis. We also talked about the Giannis Sengun pairing which is problematic since both guys demand the ball and both work in similar areas with neither being a stretch player. This does not solve the Rockets issues of playing against aggressive zones and traps. If they learned anything they would either change their offense or get a star or stars that can open up the half court. This may mean either one of Sengun or Green or both.

    The irony coming from you.
Green only fan, doesn’t understand ball.

You constantly b**** about shooting and space but you want to trade the best player on the team for a player that can’t shoot or give space.

IF we trade Sengun, it better be for a star. However, I’d far prefer to trade for a piece that complements Sengun, Amen, and either Bari or Tari.

    Don’t ever talk about idiocy.

You and your alts are the dumbest posters on this forum.
Green disappeared and so did you. Stay that way, idiot

    nope check my posts

I argue against those exhibiting bias and hate towards any player. I have defended Bari when many of you attacked him. I defended Holliday. I even defended Amen when many if not most of you called him a fake player that went against high school competition. I point out flaws with Green several times. This is the difference between me and those who see no wrong and seek no accountability from Sengun who declined this year despite being an all star. I point out nuances and context with evidence to support my claims instead of empty statements and judgements. There’s a reason for everything and it’s easy to criticize and be emotional and blame.

No one is claiming any of our core are finished products.
But one, gets substantially more hate from you (Alp) while another (Green) gets excuses.
    No consistency.

Dude Jalen's in a system with NO offensive strategy or spacing. Other teams see this and are able to comprehend a player's struggles vs him not being utilized correctly. Ime's a great coach but his flaw is a terrible offensive game plan. Its not far fetched that teams value Jalen highest because GS geared their WHOLE defense in stopping Jalen to beat us.

Which is why we can't use the shooting guard for any significant upgrades - why would anybody else want our trash?
