Houston has optionality, this trade can be structured in many different ways. Houston would be open to trading Alperen Sengun, league sources told NBC Sports, but the Bucks may be higher on a Jalen Green-based trade (depending on how they rate Green). Jabari Smith Jr. is likely part of any deal, and the Rockets have a lot of future first-round picks — their own and others, such as Brooklyn and Phoenix picks — that could be part of the trade. It likely takes a third team to make the math work, but it’s very doable.

    No verifiable source at all.
Complete conjecture, I’m sure you’re getting off to.

LOL that the Bucks might be higher on Jalen Green, that's hilarious.

league sources means the writer made that **** up.

I am sure Spurs are open to trading Wembanyama according to my league sources.

Also I am a Jalen supporter but anybody who says they value Jalen more than Sengun is obviously just trolling or making **** up. Cmon bro.

Hey, too bad it isn't true.

"Wait. What? You want Jalen Green?! But he looks so cool when he goes up for a dunk (and doesn't miss)! I'm gonna have to think about it. Hang on." (puts hands over mouthpiece, looks at staff) "Can you believe that? Omygod omygod get the champagne...."

The common thread with every single sourced take on the Rockets situation is that Amen is untouchable. We aren't hearing the same about Alperen.

It's a huge risk to trade an all star at age 22 but i can't see a scenario where Giannis and Alperen are both Rockets. If that happens i'd love to see how they solve the spacing issues.

If you had both, you'd absolutely have to move on from at least 2 of FVV, Jalen, and Dillon Brooks because you would NEED shooters, not the least efficient full time starters at SF, SG, and PG in the entire league.

If we see articles about Giannis wanting to come here at all, Sengun is gone.

What if you're able to keep FVV on a team friendly deal and trade Brooks and JGreen for JBrown

i.e. trade whoever it takes not named Amen to bring in Jalen Brown and Giannis? Rockets would be expensive as hell, but it ain't my money lol

I don't think you'd be left with very much after those 2 deals, and you'd still only have a few years left of Giannis before he's washed.

I don't know why we need to do a deal for Giannis. The Rockets only weakness is Jalen.

Trade Jalen and some picks for a better Scorer and roll on to success.

Advanced BPM has done a phenomenal job predicting league MVP through the years. For a large portion of this season Sengun was in the top 8...as a 22 year old. Some want to say he's a defensive liability, but I'm looking at his 5th place finish in defensive win-shares.

Of course there are no perfect statistics, but again...he's 22. I don't think we need to be desperate. I don't care what anyone says purchased championships have a cheaper feeling to them. I'm probably in the minority with the belief we're on a Sengun timeline, which is to say 5 years away from peak Sengun.

    Sengun isn't our problem.

Our shooting guard is the problem.

Thank God the source for this is complete bullshit. If this was an actual source I’d be calling for stone to be fired now.

Sengun and Amen are both 22-23 and they are completely untouchable. End of story.
