The novelty has worn off and it’s become too much of a gimmick. The coloured, advert-filled courts, the talent level, the lack of serious defense etc.
side rant: they need a flattering photographer? Beasley is only age 34; some of us old heads on the forum look younger than that photo.
It will always blow my mind that royce white made 4 million dollars playing 3 nba games and scoring 0 points. The only stats he recorded was one missed shot and 2 personal fouls. A bad person in every facet of life from everything i have ever read about him.

Anyone (still) watch this? No? _________________________ Houston energy execs purchase BIG3 basketball team, which will begin play in 2025 Houston is getting its own BIG3 franchise when the 3-on-3 basketball league led by Ice Cube and featuring former NBA players expands in 2025 by putting teams in home markets across the country. Houston energy executives Eric Mullins and Milton Carroll purchased the rights to the BIG3's third franchise after Los Angeles and Miami were announced as home bases for teams earlier this summer. There has been no announcement about where the team will play, but the league, which has a TV deal with CBS, often plays in NBA arenas with tour stops this summer at San Antonio's Frost Bank Center, Boston's TD Garden and Portland's Moda Center. The league season lasts 10 weeks from June through August.
Nah, the novelty has worn off and quite frankly it's awful to look at with courts plastered with logos and bright colorful courts that hurt your eyes. Doesn't help the defense played is awful, guys are not taking it that serious as much, the big names are not coming in anymore. I would have figured with the struggles and the lack of appeal they would just do a summer league like tournament structure.
