thanks, it's working great. just wondering one thing though, i'm using msn messenger so whenever there's an e-mail notice through messenger and I click on the pop-up link - explorer opens. is there a way to have it open the e-mail (hotmail of course) in firefox?
I suspect it depends on whether IE is opened because it's the default browser or for some other reason. In Firefox, go to Tools > Options > General and make sure Firefox is set to check if it is the default browser. When you open Firefix, if it asks you if you want to make Firefox your default browser, click "Yes" or "OK" or whatever it says. In Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options, click the Programs tab, and uncheck the box that says, "Internet Explorer should check to see if it is the default browser. If that doesn't work, then I'm not sure you can change that -- or at least I don't know how to do so.
thanks for the effort TraJ but it's not working for me. microsoft is just doing everything to stop people from using competitors products like always.
