I was watching a KOC video of this guy the other day where he basically said the Mavs had a scout come watch him play when he was at Eastern Washington in his first year of college ball or something. His coaches pulled him aside and told him the Mavs had come to watch a teammate, but they were impressed by him.

I've never watched him play, but those stats are video game stats (which is always scary) and he's built like a human propeller. That wingspan is nutty. When I saw that wingspan is when I went to look for more info on the guy and found the KOC podcast video. He's a really intelligent kid and seems like he's got a good head on his shoulder (or seems so, anyway). He's also in something like his 4th school (via transfer portal to Duke - his current stop).
He said he thinks his 2 comps in the NBA would be Jalen Williams or Kawhi on that KOC video, too.

I think its time to trade Cam Whitmore then get Cedric Coward with that pick. Whitmore is ultra talented but he prob wont blossom with Ime as coach.

I wouldnt pick Coward at 10 cuz he only played 6 games ala Wiseman but damn bro he looks like JDub. Jdub also has an insane wingspan to height like Coward.

edit: Didnt realize he was already a junior but still I think he will be there in the teens.

Extremely unathletic was the first thing I noticed
You don't have to be lebron of course but it seems like he's extremely slow twitch

His combine agility numbers were some of the better numbers for his position, from what I saw. Either they were near the top or mid-to-top.

Great name. Wonder what his ancestors did to have been stuck with a surname like Coward...

Man, this guy really lives and breathes basketball 24/7. Have never seen a prospect who hasn't been in a pro system yet who has this kind of mentality. I just don't see how he won't succeed at the NBA level. His knowledge and understanding of the game is next level. Would fit in perfectly with Amen, who also is a crazy basketball junkie. Please Stone, git er done.

I like his game. I think he's perfectly draftable at 10 if the guy they want isn't there. Smart player, hard nosed, nothing fancy.

Just the type of player Ime loves.

I'm on board.... seems like he has the work ethic to grow into a special player.

Can we duplicate his brain and put it in Cam Whitmore's head?
