In the past four games we saw two disastrous starting pitching performances followed by two masterful outings from Blanco and Valdez that saved the bullpen. Paredes has been surprisingly great defensively at third and a solid, smart hitter. After he did so poorly with the Cubs, they probably considered him a throw-in in the trade, but he's been the best Astros acquisition so far this season.
...or he may not be, basically. I think he's going to experience a hell of a next-level launch here with this ballclub.
A's are 22-20 with a -28 differential. They are better than last year, but as of now, their record is fool's gold.
They be lucky! Gonna come back to earth at some point in time and their record will look like the 75 win team their run differential says they are.
Colton Gordon goes today. Is this accurate. Probably his first of 16 perfect games back to back. Let's roll, baby!
That ownership can keep stripping that team for parts though.... hopefully they do it before we play them.
