It's getting pretty bad. There needs to be some discretion with this stuff, but he hasn't been very good about hiding it. The terrible officiating has been my biggest issue in the past, but the Doncic thing is borderline insulting.

Yep, in the year 2025 performative optics are dying hard and people want clarity and transparency. From work, school, etc. The NBA needs to get with it because their decline in viewership is for this reason.
Victor Wembanyama has a very long list of broken foot, knee injuries. Blood Clots is life threatening. He could retire very early. He won't last longer than 30 years old.
At this point, we would be better off just going back to the NFL system and allow teams to tank. Tanking is more honest than this crap.

Well that’s the thing I’m a Rockets fan so naturally I hated the Sonics lol And yes I agree, Stern definitely did some shady things as well, which is why I said “I can’t believe I’m saying this” but at least he seemed like more of a basketball guy than Silver. When it comes to Silver I generally feel he’s more of a business than basketball guy, plus he lacks any kind of backbone
The moment for me was when Silver got in bed with the online bookmakers. That was the first sign to me that Adam Silver doesn't give a **** if people believe in the legitimacy of his organization's product. As far as he's concerned, he's a producer making a TV show, not the head of a global sport's most important governing body. He's in bed with ESPN/Disney and in bed with the sportsbooks... and the NBA feels about as trustworthy as those particular institutions are. And now the Luka tit for tat... it's so bogus as to be insulting. The "NBA" is just another Disney+ streaming show mandated by the marketing department to capitalize on legacy IP. And the writers they hired are the same ones from "The Rise of Skywalker!" (Just kidding, they're bookies.)
They moved from 9 to 3 last year but as I’ve said a million times, Stone is bad gm and chose the wrong guy in Sheppard. Watch tape of Jeremiah Fears and then watch tape of Reed and you’ll see one guy is slow and doesn’t have the moves an NBA point guard must have nowadays. Spoiler alert….it’s Reed.
