Tre Johnson - Bucket getter 2025 draft - trade up?

I'm convinced, based on his character comments. Trade #9 and Cam to move up if he's still there at 5 or 6 (draft lottery pending, of course).

 

You know that is a weak argument. Somehow has to shoot the ball on every team, and the Rockets are so poor with offensive talent it fell to Jalen as the #1 option. We all know how efficient he was.

 

I was unimpressed w the coaching at UT so my hope would be he could take a leap w better coaching. Could work out great, but I also hate the idea of getting somebody that doesn't really play D or playmake. Yes, we need shooters, but it would be nice to not just getting one-dimensional players in one direction or another.

I'm not high on Giannis or Durant. Ultimately I'm not sure anyone that would fix the team's issues will be available at a reasonable price, so a draft slam dunk would be awesome.

I wonder if Cam is Ime’s Pritchard??? Cam dropped PP and Mazula brought him back into the rotation. Now 6th man of the year.

Would that have been Ime, too, or how might the comparison play out?

 

I wouldn't trade up for him, but if he falls to us 100% take him.

 

If he falls to 9 maybe. But another low feel player … would rather go for Kon.
