To me Russ was always the complimentary piece, remember Paul George? Paul George was an MVP candidate as well......

His triple dubs and non shooting only allows him to be a 1B.......

Is Dallas on his list? Mavs can send Cooper, Klay, and garbage for Giannis.

    Kyrie, AD, Giannis

I don't want Giannis, but we need to be in the bidding to drive the price up as high as possible for the Spurs. We cannot allow them to get Giannis for cheap like they did with Fox. Force SA to gut their team.

Nah, I don't believe that at all. It's too much for a 31 year old superstar in this CBA.

Mavs would be dumb to trade Cooper.

Hopefully we can sell them on Jalen Green and some of our other young players. Giannis is also going to pick the team he is most interested in I think. The bucks organization will most likely honor his selection for which team he wants to join.

I think in terms of bidding we have a lot of picks in the future and a lot of young talent. Jalen + Cam + Tari + 4 FRPs is probably the best the Bucks are going to get. I don't see OKC giving up Jalen Williams or Chet. The Spurs aren't close to contention like we are and they don't have a championship caliber coach. Giannis has ties to Hakeem and respects Ime Udoka - also all three are Nigerian descent. If he wants to compete for a championship realistically its the Rockets and OKC.

Rockets should go all in on Amen. Sengun, FVV, Dillon, #10 for Bam, Herro, Wiggins and #20. If Miami balks maybe take out the returning 20 pick. Then Jalen Green, Tari and one of our 27 picks(swaps) and 29 Rockets pick for Maxey.

    Amen, Maxey, Wiggins, Jabari, Bam.
Bench: Reed, Herro, Cam, re-signed Adams.

That’s 4 shooters to surround Amen with in addition to shooters Reed, Herro, and Cam. It would also be the most athletic starting 5 in the league. You could also use another pick and filler for John Collins to give you more frontcourt depth and another bench shooter.

Don't like Wiggins or Bam. Andrew has been passed around from team to team for good reason. Dude is inconsistent at best from three and was putting up <15 points against the Cavs. Bam I feel like has already hit his prime and won't improve anymore as a player. Sengun is 5 years younger than him and has much more potential.

Maxey I want but the Sixers are going to try to Fleece us. Daryl is not going to take any low ball offers. The assets are much better spent on generational talent like Giannis.

    FVV Amen Brooks Sengun/Naz Reid/Jabari/Giannis

Nah I highly doubt it. There’s a good chance Kyrie misses all of next season. When he does come back as a 34 year old coming off an ACL I wouldn’t bank on him returning anything close to what he was prior to injury.

AD is one of the most unreliable stars in the game when it comes to staying on the court. He missed 31 games this season and nobody was surprised cause that’s typical for him.

If I were Dallas I’d actually try to get rid of AD and Klay for future picks/young assets this summer, go full tank mode with Cooper in his first year to get another lottery pick and let Kyrie walk after next year when he’s a FA.

Keldon Johnson a 16 ppg scorer, Harrison Barnes, Champagnie.....

Technically they can also flip Fox later and just bank on Dylan Harper.

Nah. Giannis has 3 guaranteed years and they are his final good years. Milwaukee will honor his choice as little as possible. What will happen is Milwaukee will create a list and Giannis will choose one from that list. We have the ability to make Giannis want us, but fact of the matter is it's an open market and we will have to put the best offer in the table. Milwaukee doesn't own its own picks and their future hinges on squeezing as much out of a Giannis trade as possible. They won't take a lesser pick to make him happy. They've invested as much in him as he has in them, there's nothing owed here. The Spurs will have Pop supervising the HC and it's an organization with winning DNA. Wemby's next season is going to be a superstar season, we already saw it end of last season. A DPOY who can put up 25ppg and shoot the 3 will have an impact on the score that we've rarely ever seen at this age.

Jalen Green isn't going anywhere especially if we get Giannis, sorry to tell you. Everyone knows Giannis needs 4 shooters around him. If Jalen improves at 3PT% and 3PA exactly as much as he did last summer, next season he will average Dame Lillard's career 3PT% and 3PA. He's going to be more open than he's ever been, and he's 40% on catch and shoot attempts. He plays defense, is coachable and works hard. He won't need to face a double team again for 2-3 years. This is a perfect piece around Giannis whether Jalen's a star scorer or not. The guy who can shoot and was the only guy who drew a double team in the playoffs is not going to be seen as the problem on a team desperate for star power and shooting.

Whether in the trade or after the trade, it's the non-shooters who should be worried. If Giannis is here, he will directly tell the coach to put 4 guys who can make open 3's around him. He's never succeeded any other way. He won't put extra pressure on his scoring and body just so that Ime can live out a fantasy of playing 90's basketball. Giannis has hinted he doesn't want to play C and he wants to improve his midrange game - he's not looking to come here and try to have a knife fight in a packed paint every night. Superstars don't accept that kind of BS, they will go above Ime's head and get him out of there if he doesn't comply.

Shooting is important but overall play is also important. Why will we tear the whole team up for a bunch of parts? Makes zero sense.

Herro would be a massive get and would fit this team like a glove. Bam is kinda overrated, and Miami will not trade him unless they get a king's ransom. The rest of your trade scenario would just set us back.

As long as FVV is our starting PG getting close to 40 minutes a game, we are doomed to mediocrity. I think Sengun long-term will be the better player, but will our window be closed by then? Bam is a better fit for this team right now. He shoots 35% from 3, blocks shots, rebounds and runs the court better than Sengun. If you would rather get Maxey for 3-4 picks and send FVV in return, that would be awesome. Then trade Jalen and a pick for John Collins.
