Everything you say is right. You're absolutely right. Yet somehow we all saw this coming...

Flagg is a great player, and worthy of the #1 pick overall... but I'm not sure he's ever a first team all-NBA player. I don't think he'll be at that level.

    No, I said live.

Kind of strange don't you think, they go to such extreme measures and effort to not draw it on camera in front of the world to see.

But yes, every man and his dog predicted the Mavs would get the #1 pick the second they found out about the absolutely preposterous trade. It's just such a huge coincidence that it actually happened, just a huge coincidence.

Let's not pretend that Yao to Houston was not incredibly convenient for the NBA and us...

Not really. It's boring to watch ping pong ball after ping pong ball be drawn, so it doesn't make for great tv. Hell, people already don't even want to watch entire NBA games and just tune in for the ends of a lot of games if they're close. But if that's the only way to convince people, then maybe that's the only way. I'd rather have them draw live, too, but oh well.

Flagg isn't a great offensive player yet so it all hinges on the health of Kyrie lol.

    Screw Morey and Wright though......

I feel like it's just really tough luck.

We haven't won the draft with generational talent, unless Amen turns out to be that and he very may well be. If his shooting improves half as much as it did between year 1 and 2, he very may well be, but yeah it's some tough luck.

Toughest of luck is Harden on paper is an all-time legend, Top 5 SG of all time just based on numbers alone, his reign here was just some very tuff luck. Being paired with Dwight right after his prime for one then CP3 thing working but him getting injured at that crucial time and running into one of the best teams ever in NBA history didn't help either.

Those Harden teams were our best chance at getting more championships.

I think it's too early to count out Reed, just haven't seen anything from him, but I have some faith in Amen and Sengun even but we just have to build the right team around them at this point.

Other than Amen, yeah, the tough luck is the timing that when the 2nd pick happened it wasn't in this year's draft.....

i am sane and i don't think it's rigged. i think some thing that is highly improbable happens with roughly expected frequency.

Yes, once Flagg is ready, AD and Kyrie are out of the door but they can rebuild, it hurts the Rockets for sure to be in the same Division again.

Spurs and Sixers are what is gut wrenching and puzzling.....

This is just ****ing blatant. Kayfabe alive and well in the NBA… Paul Boesch would be proud.

I don’t believe Harley Race “accidentally” no-showed two title defenses for Boesch, and I don’t believe the Mavericks “got lucky.” It’s a work.
