Thunder really took off with getting that Jalen Williams pick right, but he was 12 not 10. Cason Wallace was a 10th pick adn i remember myself and the board desperately wanting him.

    10. Houston Rockets: Collin Murray-Boyles | 6-8 wing/forward | 20 years old | South Carolina

The Rockets are loaded across each position. They have a veteran point guard in Fred VanVleet and drafted their point guard of the future in Reed Sheppard at No. 3 last year; the organization is still extremely high on Sheppard despite his lack of playing time this year. They have their center of the future in Alperen Şengün. I think they will just take the best player available in the lottery, and at this spot, that’s Murray-Boyles for me. He’s a tremendous defender and would fit in perfectly with how Ime Udoka wants to play. He also passes well and has serious toughness to play with many of their players. He processes the game at an elite level and is the kind of prospect the Rockets have valued in the past.

For those who true believe the NBA doesn’t rig at least some of these lotteries please explain your reasoning.

I want to believe it isn’t rigged but the coincidences in key drafts are just too much.

Does Maluach really shoot 38% from 3pt like I am reading right now? I’d trade up for that

What’s y’all’s opinion on Traore or Demin?

I think it would be close between the two of them.

You are right that nothing is guaranteed though, when you think about the hype surrounding Andrew Wiggins or Zion Williamson. Cooper Flagg is about at their level as a prospect.

According to this he's only shooting 25% from three
    https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/khaman-maluach-1.html

I'm not sure if I want to make the pick at #10 at this point

Maybe we trade back or trade out if we make it to draft day without a bigger deal materializing

I like Nique Clifford if we trade back

So I guess his height is sorta kinda legit if you count the shoes.

I always thought the NBA was rigged in some way - Kings/Lakers 2002, Rockets/Warriors 2018, gifting the Warriors and Steph multiple championships, Tim Donaghy/Scott Foster/Tony Brothers, and add that to all the gambling links now with the league. But never did I once think that when people mentioned magnets and rims and ball technology, that that could actually be a thing.

Now I'm not so sure. We were literally all joking back during the Luka trade that Adam Silver will secretly gift them the #1 pick... never once thinking it would actually happen. Somehow this feels even more contrived than the AD/Zion crap because the Lakers had literally nothing to give for Luka and still got him for free. And Dallas had extremely low odds for the #1 pick in a draft for a generational superstar in Flagg. If Adam Silver is willing to make it this obvious...then ball/rim/magnet tech doesn't seem so far-fetched.

That sounds borderline physically impossible to pull off in a way that's not easily detectable. I can believe after this crap that they do somehow rig the draft lottery, as implausible as it sounded before (too many people in on it). I can't believe that they somehow made us miss 27 straight threes. I'm afraid that's on the players :(
