When you constantly have to make excuses for a guy, perhaps it's actually the guy that's the issue (Jalen). The JOFs can't even be partial. Nothing is Jalen's fault. I'm calling BS, too. Gotta keep that trade value high.
Ime and Stone deserve zero benefit of the doubt when it comes to player management and player evaluation.... but i do hope this is all lies and they earn some trust.
last night when I was going back to try and find the game the Rockets ran PNR with Bari and JG … I was scrolling Bari stats game by game and man do we under utilize him - if we had any type of offensive system to get him consistent catch and shoot 3s specially in the corners … his numbers would explode
Somehow he became an all-star voted in by coaches. You think you know more than them don't you. Jalen according to you doesn't even fit in with the fans. He's just not a good fit in Houston. He should be traded.
why would it be lip service when Ime said the exact thing after Game 3 and they said it after series and in press conference. The gameplan was to get the ball in the paint to their All Star C and to Amen and we missed 31 shots in paint 1 game and 33 in Game 7 they not saying JG didn’t have a bad series, but they understand he followed Ime instructions also so they didn’t put him in the best position either. that would be like blaming Alpi for missing the game winning shot attempt in Game 4 … he was 2-10 vs Draymond 1v1 that game… it was idiotic of Ime to draw that play up.. he’s to blame
You guys are more annoying than Segun only fans. As a matter of fact Ive heard nothing from them in weeks. Meanwhile jalen stans in here pulling random bullshit out of their ass jsut to see what sticks. We arent getting rid of Ime for Jalen might as well trade Jalen so he can be a star somewhere else and you guys can go with him.
I've explained this many times, try to follow: Spacing improves your ability to get to the rim. You can think he sucks at drives, it's still stupid to not have average spacing. Do you understand that even Steph Curry requires decent spacing and he can make 3's all day? We've had poor spacing for exactly four years, so the fact that you've watched the same games as the rest of us doesn't mean you've seen him with average spacing.
You didn't point out I'm bad at predictions. You pointed out 1 bad prediction. I was criticizing Ime's offense even when Jalen was playing great. I correctly predicted mathematically Jalen's FG% for the playoffs the moment it became clear to me Ime intends to play 2 non-shooters for 48 minutes. Thanks, try again.
When you have a hilariously low BBIQ shooting guard who can't shoot, you are going to have spacing problems
"As it relates to Green, whose struggles against the Warriors were widely seen as a red flag when it came to his Rockets future, the internal view is quite different. As the Rockets see it, the Warriors’ choice to eliminate Green on the offensive end with double-teams and blitzes should have been punished to a far greater degree by his teammates. In that sense, there was a shared fault there that they’ll all grow from going forward." This "we are all at fault for Jalen Green sucking" is not good for a locker room. Better be posturing and eventually shipping him out because there will be a mutiny if this happens again next year.
It's a fine line for the FO to tread between protecting the value of Jalen and throwing the rest of the team, including the coach, under the bus. The pro-Jalen posters here have shown that the easiest way to defend Jalen's performance is to blame either coaching or his teammates or both.
You think spacing is just shooting don't you. Go Google search it and when you realize you never knew what it was, have a laugh at yourself. Obviously the Warriors spacing is better than ours.
The conspiracy continues in the media! The team will protect Jalen and unfairly blame 8 other rotation players! Lol
You sure do insult a lot when you realize your point isn't working. You made a bad prediction, were reminded of this, and then immediately started deflecting. Did you predict Jalen would go 37% and 29% in the playoffs? How can Jalen have great games and terrible games with this same flawed offense? How does he do that? You absolved Jalen of any responsibility for his playoff performance by blaming Ime. Hint: You have been doing this for four years and Jalen hasn't changed. You're not getting it.
I criticized Jalen for every single bad game, and in the playoffs sometimes to the point I was told it's too much. Thanks for the strawman, you can keep it. Is this passive aggression I'm copying better than the insults for you? Crazy we can blame Jalen and Ime right? And *gasp* we can be proud of the defense and the record at the same time?! Novel thought. Yes, I specifically predicted Jalen would be mid 30's in the playoffs. I said that he would be resigned to taking many contested jumpers so his output would reflect that.
I've taken the mindset where I'm just going to assume that this is all posturing because nothing else makes sense to me. I mean, if Stone and Ime are really this dense then it makes a ton of sense. They specifically defend Jalen, but vaguely call out his teammates...all the while when asked about those other guys individually they say glowing things about them as well... Jalen played the most minutes with this lineup: F. VanVleet - D. Brooks - J. Green - A. Sengun - A. Thompson AKA the starters....He didn't even play a significant amount of minutes with any other lineup. I wish someone would ask Stone and Ime which one (or more) of these guys didn't show up to help Jalen out. Also, The double big lineup that all 3 of Jalen stans complained about limiting Jalen's spacing...He played a total of 12 mins and only in 2 of the 7 games did he see the floor with Adams and Sengun. https://www.nba.com/stats/lineups/a...*green:TEAM_ABBREVIATION*E*hou&dir=D&sort=MIN
Pssst…hate to break it to you…but Amen doesn’t provide spacing either … I believe @Stephen_A or @Mathloom provided photo evidence of that in this thread I posted Ime comments about the lack of finishing in the paint when JG got off ball - but he also commented on what JG could do better… it can be BOTH what Ime didn’t take accountability of is his stubbornness to adjust to what GS was doing and his fumble by subbing Adams out in Game 4
