2025 NBA Draft Lottery Thread (Rockets get #10 Pick)

I'm definitely open to that #4 scenario. Kneuppel might fit this team better than Edgecombe as currently constructed. And I really don't want the front office gutting the team for KD, Giannis, or Booker. It sounds like(at least publicly) they're no longer interested in Booker which is good to hear.

 

I did a sim for the first time and got the Rockets picking #1 on the first try.

I’ve not tried again as that is going to be our obvious fate.

 

Kneuppel is a reach at #4

 

Probably, but there's always the option to take Edgecombe and trade down with whomever takes Kneuppel.

Oh man I didn't realize it was tonight. Ass clenching this evening for sure.

 

I'm not expecting us to move up again, but boy would it be sweet for this draft class.

 

Good for her - always thought she was way too polished and professional to be doing local broadcasts. Hope for the best for her.

Obviously if it's No. 1 we take Flagg and I don't think anyone that gets no. 1 will trade Flagg and we wouldn't trade him for Giannis or anyone else. The conspiracy guy in me says Dallas or SA gets the pick. We should all remember if the no. 1 pick goes to somewhere Flagg does not want opens up the possibility of him going back to Duke. He has until just before the draft to withdraw. Utah actually has a decent team and could have won more games if they weren't tanking, so I don't think he would renege on them. Washington or Toronto I think he may pass on.

 

It sucks but we need Flagg or Harper badly considering our competition in the West.

Basketball gods hate us so I'm not expecting anything. Since the start of this rebuild I've been hoping for a generational player to fall in our laps and it has yet to happen.

If he goes to a West team like the ****ing Spurs.. I might be done following the NBA until the season starts cuz I'd be ****ing livid.

you mean a 3-player draft including Kon, right?

 

Feels like Flagg is destined for Utah. If we don’t get him, I’d prefer he go out East to the Wizards or Hornets.
