Amen is good, but he’s not THAT good

There's loads of alt accounts around. It's always really obvious when those people start talking about things or narratives/history in the forum they had no part of as if they were in the middle of it. I don't know why they don't just post all the nonsense from the one account tbh, it doesn't seem to achieve anything different to me.

The account gets hacked or made by a bot that then generates posts on its own to start discourse and/or push articles and videos.

Everything is a bot.

I frequent another message board that recently got bought by a company that is likely buying up message boards to flood them with this same ****. I imagine that there's been an uptick in message board discourse since people have been defecting off of social media and these people seem to know that.

 

PG is ok, but he is the ultimate contrarian, just likes to argue, about everything.

If someone says one thing he takes the opposite side, just to argue....likes to hear himself talk on Playback.

It can be annoying at times, but then, so can we all.......

Dumb thread. Everyone knew how raw Amen was coming into the league. The jump he made from year 1 to 2 was astronomical. There is zero reason to think he won’t keep improving. He’s a stud.

It used to be against the rules to have an alt account, but that is really hard to police, if you have evidence of it, report it, you can get banned for it.

A long time ago in a BBS far far away, I created an account called "Margrave" - I was tired of everyone following me around and taking shots, and didn't use the "Ignore" function properly, and I wanted to see if my takes would be consumed differently if it didn't have the DD attached.

Boy were they, so much less pot shots, and arguing, just real discussion.

But, BUT, I knew I was breaking the law of the land, and I accidently signed a Margrave post "DD".....some habits are hard to break.

I got banned for a year, and deserved it.......so take note from my transgression, it is not worth it.

I see way too many people calling Amen this year better than prime Ben Simmons.

Ben Simmons at his peak was all-nba and all-star. Amen can reach that status soon but even then Simmons was a generational passer.

Seriously, when you see a wall of text in a post, that doesn't have grammatical or typo errors, it has to be AI.

BTW, it's ironic that a poster named "pastor" would bash a player named "Amen." "CAN WE HAVE AN AMEN!!!"

 

Shouldn't organizing your own thoughts be a skill you'd rather build?

My wife uses GPT for work and I get it for certain applications but I'm also weary of it stunting vital cognitive skills.

 

Its funny every time a critism of one player on this board is mentioned its always alongside Jalen Greens name. Almost like your trying to givee Jalen yet another excuse for his performance. Hmm wonder why that is lol

If you kept it to Amen talk then it would be about Amen. Bringing in Jalen makes it a Jalen defense post. Yet another one sigh.
