I was harsher about Amen than most pre-draft due to him shooting a basketball like a middle school B team player but he's shown to be an elite defensive player and he's made very impressive improvements when it comes to shooting a basketball so I'm willing to see what he can do in the next few seasons before making a final judgement. I think unquestionably he's the second best player on the Rockets right now and he could be a fringe all star next season.
Reported. Once Amen continues working on his jump shot (small samples, but his 3 point percentage went from 14% to 28% year 1 to year 2, which is a good sign), he's got NBA top 20 player potential.

It is worse than that. There is at least one alt account, Brooklyn White, that was created in 2017 yet had zero post until 4/28/25 and then exploded making post pushing the Sengun is the problem agenda while trying to prop up Jalen. I am sure whoever did that has multiple alt accounts created years ago. If you see a poster you have never seen before pushing a specific agenda it is a good idea to look at their post history even if their join date is older
