why trade back for multiple picks? we don't need depth. we need the best talent at this point. try to get maluach or knueppel, he reminds of Franz Wagner and Reaves. just get a bucket getter please. our offense is a disgrace

I don't know much about Kon, but at first glance doesn't he take the role of Jack McVeigh on this current roster? (giving hope in the summer league, bouncing down to RGV for a few games, and playing if someone is hurt)

    And coach Ivey!

I think Maluach is right there for us and it’s a solid pickup. Maluach is massive and offers a skill we don’t really have.

he can come in and provide shooting right away. Can handle the ball and make the right reads. One of the highest IQ players. We need this guy.

Kon is Austin Reaves. Nothing wrong with that. Same player.

That would be an amazing player if he’s Austin Reaves.

He is, but they say Morey is definitely taking him at six.

Nah, he is much slower and less athletic than Austin Reaves.

He is probably a better shooter than Austin though, but he’s super slow.

Not sure that he fits our defensive scheme.

Yes I acknowledged he’s a better shooter than Austin. And also that he’s much slower and much less athletic. Both are true. His measurements are good, but he’s slow as eff. Not sure that translates to a full time wing in today’s league.

I could certainly be wrong, but to me he seems like just a dude to bring off the bench occasionally to hit a shot here and there. If we draft him I will of course cheer like crazy for him to be good lol.

Reaves is more of a pg. Kon is more of a connective passer he doesnt create shots off isolation. If we were GSW I would be ecstatic to get Kon but in Ime Udoka offense off the ball players get left on their own and barely get shots like Jabari.

My issue with Kon is the same thing as Reed if Kon's shot doesnt transfer to the NBA now you have an unathletic wing who has bad handles. Ime Udoka offense wont do him any favors if he isnt sniping day 1 he will be nailed to the bench just like Reed.

I prefer we get an actual pg like Jakucionis or an elite scorer like Tre Johnson. Even Carter Bryant might be better than Kon long term.

Kon does not have a 7'5" wingspan
