Building an iron dome will save a ton of money in the long run and after seeing Space X personally and the people/how they run their programs I couldn't think of a better company to lead building the iron dome.

It will, literally, save money. If China incereated us with nuclear weapons then there wouldn't be anymore money, dude.

i tend to follow Jeffrey Gundlach of DoubleLine Capital

in March 2025, before the dotard proclaiming liberation day he predicted 2 rate cuts in 2025, starting in the June Fed meeting

5 weeks after that, taken into account all the chaos and confusions, today on TV, Gundlach says he sees 2-3 cuts in 2025, not because of lessening inflationary pressures.

the cuts are to stimulate a slowing economy, preventing it from entering a "technically" recessionary state, which has been defined as 2 consecutive quarters of declinng GDP

Protecting our country or protecting our interests?

A big spending budget didn't keep us safe from the last foreign attack on American soil.

And it's far from possible for Russia or China to invade us. Those hours training on Call of Duty potentially wasted.

But we did fritter away trillions to the mil industrial complex for that reason even if it was to "protect interests" most Americans didn't care about.

I also think golden dome won't be cost effective against hypersonic missiles plus several conventional ICBMs mixed with decoys. It's fine to dump into since people need to feel safe but don't fool yourself into thinking it'll save money.

We'll be pouring in just as much or more money for our version of hypersonic missiles and their counters...

    Same ****ing dance since Reagan.

Different color lipstick for the same fattened pig

No you would know how much it's going to cost before it's built.

It's not perfect by far to match the karma they're racking up. Last year's stress test wasn't a total success and Iran wasn't 100% trying either.

From a dollars sense, the cost per value wasn't great but you can't put a price on one missile hit and the collateral damage it leaves behind.

The other issue is replenishing the smart munitions needed to make their iron dome work.

I guess Elon can go full evil genius and put sharks with frickin lasers to task.

Trump wins again -- the UK is poised to enter into a trade deal that brings tremendous financial benefits to Americans. All these economically illiterate liberals talked about the negatives of tariffs, but NOW we see the benefits start to roll in. America emerges stronger than before. And markets are loving the news.

    GOOD DAY

Trump says U.S. has struck ‘comprehensive’ deal with UK ahead of press conference
    https://www.cnbc.com/2025/05/08/uk-set-to-sign-a-trade-deal-with-us.html

Britain is set to sign a trade deal with the U.S., making it the first country to do so after the world’s largest economy announced stiff “reciprocal” tariffs against friends and foes alike in April.

The White House is due to hold a press conference at 10:00 a.m. ET (3 p.m. London time) on Thursday in the Oval Office.

In a post on Truth Social, U.S. President Donald Trump said Thursday: “The agreement with the United Kingdom is a full and comprehensive one that will cement the relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom for many years to come.”

“Because of our long time history and allegiance together, it is a great honor to have the United Kingdom as our FIRST announcement. Many other deals, which are in serious stages of negotiation, to follow!”

A spokesperson for the office of U.K. Prime Minister Keir Starmer told CNBC: “The United States is an indispensable ally for both our economic and national security. Talks on a deal between our countries have been continuing at pace and the Prime Minister will update later today.”

Having a trade surplus or deficit does not speak to the fairness of bilateral tariffs or costs of trade. So your answer is once again irrelevant to the point. A mistake that you make frequently, unfortunately.

Can you man up and admit that this trade deal is a positive for America? And that our terms of trade are improving? If not, then you lose even more credibility.

    GOOD DAY
