Hopefully the next team he is on gives him all the space he needs and we give him a large amount of space by distancing ourselves. Always what someone or something needs to do in order to make this guy successful.
In this scenario of me being naive im going with all major reports by professionals and stone never refuted them but you are going with a hunch and Im the one who is naive? Youre exactly what I said you were earlier. with every post you prove it. https://www.si.com/nba/nets/news/ho...-brooklyn-nets-for-mikal-bridges-01j3jypernc5
There is no doubt he need space so do most of the team, if that is the case, then Sengun either develops a 3 or he is traded. DD
This isn't really the optimal set up for Sengun either. Ideally a better fit for him would be a dynamic SG that can cut, create and catch and shoot. Amazing how he manages to not completely suck without having a team built around all his needs. Amen would probably look A lot better with 4 shooters around him also. Again, another player who manages to still thrive on a team and in a system not built around all his needs. Amazing concept how some guys are just good and others aren't.
Don't be so sure. Fans think if you don't want a player, you can just trade him to whatever. It's not that simple. Trading involves at least two teams. If you think Jalen is not a good player, then why would other teams think he is? I don't think Stone will just get rid of Jalen at all cost. I don't think he should either. Jalen is not a cancer like KPJ who you just want off the team. So it all depends on what kind of offers Stone can find out there.
I didnt give any guarantees. We've all got our own thoughts and I think Jalen will be gone before the trade deadline.
Everybody is better without Jalen on the court. He doesn't make anybody better. But there's folks talking about how the roster needs to be changed to suit him.
We have a cam whitmore. He's a SG and he needed minutes. Absolutely false that a majority of his rebounds were off his own misses. In fact Adam's got his rebounds off sengun misses. He averaged 9 defensive rebounds a game and only 3 offensive rebounds. Stop making **** up.. and he got a bunch of those off other misses like free throws etc.. Do you honestly believe Anthony Edwards is not light years better than Jalen Green?
He can have all the space in the world but he sucks at beating his man one on one. Did you not watch the series. He couldn't get a good shot off anyone in isolation. Got blocked by moody. Walled off by curry? The warriors were smart they trapped off screens because they know that's the only way he can score. Cuz he's terrible in isolation... like statistically one of the worst players in isolation this season.
I suspect his playoffs on/off were better when he was less of an emphasis on offense. Either way, it ain't good.
No. Fred took bad shots. Brooks took bad shots. Sengun took bad shots. It's obviously not Ime's fault on Jalen bad shooting. Jalen is scared like little girl.
Are we really comparing Ant’s performance to Green here? We win the series if Green played like that.
Cam is a SF - I watch every Rockets game and about 80% of Minn games, the gap isn’t as big as folks like to make it - Ant 3pt shooting this season widened a little but he’s worse defensively, and rebounding and truthfully playmaking - he just has the ball a lot and in a more free flowing offense and what really unlocked him was moving Towns - he’s the clear Alpha on that team A lot of yall just see highlights and like omg … I’ve seen Ant do stuff that Ime would bench him for plenty of times … now would if end up in a blown up locker room (prob) JG is much more of a team guy which I feel affects his aggressiveness
We don’t because that would be 11 shots that Amen or Alpi or Fred didn’t get …. To only make 3 more buckets than JG — the major diff is Ant gets a whistle atleast when he plays like ****
