Jalen’s probably halfway through his career already. Most starters last 5-8 years, we can’t keep waiting for a starter to figure it out.

Weaponize Jalen like we did Jabari. Shorten his role, that should increase his efficiency and lessen his expectation.

Jalen’s gonna see more bad matchups in his career. Teams will continue targeting him because it works. The Rockets can’t keep enabling that.

Jalen was ass in the final games of the regular season when everyone sat and he played with scrubs.

Good players step up as the first option and overperform. No excuse for Jalen to underperform in those games leading up to the playoffs.

The signs have always been there.

When the Warriors targeted Jalen Green, it wasn’t because they felt like he was an elite player. That’s nonsense, and it was actually more so with the Rockets’ game plan being heavily dependent upon Jalen’s success.

Teams isolate Jalen offensively because it’s too easy to disrupt his rhythm.

The NBA treats him like a microwave scoring risk, while we as the Rockets treat him as a superstar first option.

If the Rockets have to wait, then next year should be it. If the Rockets, or in particular specific players don't improve, then Stone should be looking for improvements.

But I would prefer to look for improvements before next season.

Not one minute more - our window is cracking open, we can't wait on those that don't fit through the window.....trade him.....there are better options available.

We’re gonna wait until he’s coming of the bench and have to attach a pick with him to move him. It will be the moment Stone’s ass will be getting hot

Stone already tried to trade Jalen. Hes not attached to this guy. Just be patient. He'll get moved before he does too much further damage.

Wait until he's 26. At that point no further development can be expected. But at 23, tasting playoff failure, he can still become self-aware.

How much longer should we wait or how much longer are going to have to wait? We should have waited -1 year before they signed him to a superstar contract. Unfortunately we will wait until the contract is up. Stone is in love with Jalen. We somehow went from a GM that didn't recognize players as people and uses them as chess pieces to a GM that gets too attached and can't make moves.

Its true, Jalen is too old.... If Leonardo DiCaprio won't date him that's how we know he is too old....

The playoffs were a big disappointment for me. I’ve been patient with him and to a degree I still am. I think he still has potential to be a contributor but I don’t know if I see an all star player developing anymore. Along with consistency, he really needs to tighten his dribble and learn how to absorb contact.

At this point, I’m open to an upgrade that makes sense. If a favorable trade doesn’t develop in the offseason, I’m ok going into next season and seeing if he grows more. If the latter is the case, I don’t think the team should depend on him as much to generate offense. Right now it feels more like McLemore/ Gerald Green where if he has it going, you play him but otherwise you don’t which would be disappointing given his contract.
