    “Tari over Bari”.

Tari has absolutely zero BBIQ and always gets foul baited.

Until Sengun develops a mid-range game he’s not untouchable. But I do not want to trade a 22yr old allstar who is locked in long-term on a good contract. I’m betting his mid-range game will come. I think we ought to try and get that #1 scoring option through consolidation of the rest of our roster and draft picks, excluding Amen

The Rockets are built similarly like the Dallas Mavericks 2002 team

    Steve Nash - Reed Sheppard
    Dirk Nowitzki - Alperen Sengun
    Josh Howard - Amen Thompson

It is all about finding the right Offensive Coach.

Don Nelson - Avery Johnson - Rick Carlisle

Rockets are in Avery Johnson, Don Chaney, Mark Jackson, Jeff VanGundy phase which stinks.

Gotta find a Offensive Coach to bring out Reed Sheppard, Alperen Sengun, Amen Thompson, Jalen Green true Offensive Potential.

Rick Adelman, Mike Dantoni, Rudy Tomjanovich.

Ime Udoka constantly benching Jalen Green, Alperen Sengun really hurts the morale. Ime Udoka is incompetent and still stubborn in his ways.

I’m sorry, but I don’t agree with this. You don’t develop only in real game play. If you can’t do what’s asked of you in practice, you don’t get more playing time. The assumption that Jabari isn’t developing because he isn’t getting as many touches in games isn’t actually based on fact. You don’t learn to dribble in traffic in games. You don’t learn to play strong in games. You do that in practice and then you are forgiven for mistakes on the court. Jabari has to develop his skills on his own time. Right now, all he’s proven to be able to do is hit open 3s decently well and occasionally post up and fade (over smaller players). He puts the ball on the floor and it’s a bad play.

I have never seen him display much of a handle or creativeness. What do you expect him to develop into with more touches and playing time? Something he clearly isn’t? At least at this point in his career.

don’t get me wrong, I want to keep him, and think he CAN develop, but I disagree with this notion that if you’re not getting game pT that you’re not developing a player. So much more happens outside the Toyota Center. Weight room, practice court, film room. Those have more of a total impact on your development than throwing minutes at you.

see Jalen’s first two years as evidence.

It's crazy to me that people are calling Sengun soft, what does soft even mean? We must have totally different definitions of soft, I've got no idea how you can think he's soft after watching that playoff debut.

But whatever. Either way he's still not untouchable for me. Neither is Amen though, I don't think anyone should be. We don't have a #1 and anyone should be available if the opportunity presents itself.

    this

why because he got "shut down" by Draymond and GSW defense?

how are Gobert and Randle doing against Draymond and GSW defense?

so both are "softer" then Alpi?

But you can't win in the modern NBA without free throw shooting.

No Sengun is untouchable just like Amen is. If you knew anything about basketball you would understand why. The entire reason we were second seed was sengun. t his age thats ridiculous. Its sad clutchfans doesnt understand that.

I wish folks would stop with the second seed nonsense. The average 2nd seed in the West is 58 wins. If you want to say we wouldn’t have won 52 games fine, but the whole we shouldn’t change anything because we were a second seed is nonsense. I predicted 48-50 wins this season. So as far as my expectation they outperformed by 2 games. I think with a better offensive coach or with better rotations we could have won 55-60 games. Running it back with the same starting 5 next year will be futile. Amen is untouchable. Sengun is pretty close to untouchable. If it is Sengun and only a couple of picks for Giannis then he’s gone in my opinion. I’m not for gutting this team for a superstar. I am in favor of making good use of our assets to build a more balanced roster and to put our real core, Amen, Sengun, and Jabari in the right position to succeed. Maybe Jalen’s a part of that. I know we disagree, I don’t believe FVV is, because of the unhealthy dependance that Ime has on him and I think Ime is untouchable for the next 2 years.

    Lmfao ok

Sengun is good but he’s not Jesus or Jokic - he’s tradeable, but unlikely a better option is available via trade.

Dillon has the worst performance to contract value on the team. He could easily go.

Didnt say he was. If your only reply is to lie about what I said then you know you dont have a point. So you have to gaslight. Again I wish we had more knowledgeable fans. I mean do you think Amen is jesus because I think it would be stupid to trade him too lol So thanks for proving my point you guys are all about fan only clicks and your knee jerk reactions on here. You get nothing else but that lol Wish we had better fans.

yes, I do think amen has Jesus potential.

amen has flashed potential of being a top 5-10 player one day so he’s untradeable right now.

Sengun has established a ceiling and will likely always be tradeable for an upgrade.

There is no gas lighting… Sengun is limited and appears to have a ceiling so he’s tradeable.

He can pass the ball and post up, that’s about it.

    This is spot on analysis

Sengun is good and I enjoy having him, but he’s not untradeable unless he gives some indication of shooting ability

Amen should be the only untouchable on this roster. I think Amen impacts winning more than anybody currently on the roster. It also appears Amen has the mentality of a franchise player. Amen had obvious jitters at the beginning of the series but came into his own and he was trying to win game 7 by himself with no consistent jump shot but had no real help. Amen's ceiling is MVP, top 5 player in the league. Nobody else on this roster has a ceiling close to that right now. And because of Amen's observed mentality I have confidence he will continue to work on his game. Reed is a question mark and may develop into a special offensive player but no one else on this roster has Amen's ceiling potential. That's why imo he should be the only untouchable on the roster after seeing how this year played out.

For some posters, based on all the emotional reactions...seems like it's more that time of the month.
