guess who else doesn’t have range - Alpi … we basically trading paint player for paint player, one is older, way more efficient and way more dominant across the board and has a ring already

the other is young, could become more efficent…but is no where in the ballpark as the other…

replace Alpi with Giannis we win the GS series

replace JG with Ant and we still lose the GS series (unless we replace Ime with Minn Coach)

Ime would of wanted Ant to get ball into paint when doubled also

last night Minn game proved it wasn’t - look up Giannis % in playoffs from 0-5ft and 6-10ft and compare to Alpi ….

Ya that’s how guards get defended. Ant sucked in game 1, we’ll see if he sucks every other game.

I don't think you appreciate just how absurd the take that replacing the 20th best SG (or wherever jalen ranks exactly) with the 1st best SG wouldn't make a difference. Like do you understand how insane that is? It's like saying replacing sengun with jokic wouldn't make a difference.

If I were Giannis I would request for Sengun to be on the team because there are no other trustworthy scorers here.

I'm pretty confident that we easily win the series in 4 or 5 games if we make either of these replacement

I know you a little slow - Minn runs a different offensive scheme than us, and their coach gives Ant the green light - I’m not arguing that JG is as good as Ant …

I’m stating you put Ant in Houston system with Ime and judging by the 2 games he’s been doubled and blitzed… the end result would be the same, Ime would want him to get ball in paint to Alpi when doubled and Alpi would of still shot 45%

replace Alpi with GF and you getting +13 points +15% FG% in the paint

Giannis' 16-17 season which he is 22 seems on the same level as sengun 24-25. So I wouldn't rule anything out.

Dude did you just say if we replaced Jalen with Ant we would have still lost the Golden State series?

Did you bump your head? Lay down the pipe, bro. That statement alone should discredit any other posts you make

jalen wasn’t even getting blitzed in game six and seven. Dude, legit could not beat Steph Curry or Buddy hield off the dribble. Did you even watch the games?

this is the kind of guy who would defend Jalen Green even if the Rockets never get out the first round. Just ignore this fool

Sengun's not good enough to be untouchable bro.

No one is trying to trade for Giannis to win the series we already lost. Giannis does make us a better team than this year's team but for how long and at what cost?

We do need a #1 option - I think we can ALL agree on that but Giannis is a one level scorer similar to Sengun - getting a more efficient version of Sengun is cool but still doesn't address the lack of shooting that makes it easy to defend against Sengun that makes him less efficient in the first place. Milwaukee is built to surround Giannis with shooters so he can be a dominant force in the paint. He's not going to get 30+pts and 6+ assists with this Houston roster without turning Fred, Jalen, and Tari into different players.

I would argue we could be a better team with better shooters on the court and Sengun rather than trading Sengun for Giannis and still having a bad shooting team around him.

...and Houston with Ant would be a significantly better team. We would have beat GS in far less games and likely would be heading to the conference finals at least.

I know you a little slow - but maybe coaches put the schemes in place to suit the players they have and if we had the best SG in the league instead of the 20th best, Ime MAYBE would have a different game plan.

I think Ime is smart enough that if he were using a hammer on a nail and you suddenly replaced his hammer with a screwdriver, he wouldn't continue to fasten things with nails. You may not be since you are suggesting this, but I think Ime has that one under control.....
