That’s insane, that voice is second to none and as much as I appreciate it, using AI is kind of ****ed up.
Yeah man, it's a big issue with AI. It isn't creative or respectful to "recreate" somebody's likeness or voice with AI. Just like AI "art" - it rips off actual talent and passes off text prompts as "creativity".
AI wastes so much electricity too, it's ridiculous. They're building these ENORMOUS power-sucking data centers that damn near require a whole power plant's worth of energy just to run this stuff. Big tech has completely gone off the rails. But I guess we're digressing at this point.
AI recreated nonsense sucks - but the underlying idea here that we're all going to feel 30 years younger if NBC somehow reincorporates 1990's NBA branding is just as dumb if not dumber.
If they can make Reggie Miller sound like young Walton or Marc Albert, now that’s something I’d pay for.
