Nah, Thompson should be the 2 and I can see Bari at the 3 which is what I've said. In reality, they need Giannis

When Jabari came back from injury, Brooks is the one should have moved to 6th or 7th man. Amen can more than cover what Dillon gave us on defense, and while not the 3-pt guy that Brooks is, he makes up for it with offense around the basket. Basically, the Jabari/Amen combination would have negated Brooks's absence.

When you can't get your shot off againsr smaller players because you lack core strength to make a move and jump vertically , then this is the result.. You can blame Ime for the minutes but you can't blame him for the number of shots Bari takes.. That's on the dude in the mirror

Ime tried to play Reed with a 30 point lead. Reed and Cam had that lead under 15 in like 4 minutes.

I like Reed and Cam's potential, but all they had to do on offense was hold onto the ball for 24 seconds and get called for 24 second violations to play better than they did.

Bari and Amen should both start. Brooks needs to come off the bench until he’s traded.

Quoted for truth, finding a guy that is a bucket getter late in games and to stop runs is very hard to find. I'm for trading for Giannis and adding a guy like Ty Jerome this off-season. BTW, you were right about Amen and his game is going to continue to improve.

Jabari would get a whole lot more ball, and shots, if the coaching staff didn't think he'd be turning it over every time he dribbled the ball.

Why do our recent top draft picks have such huge flaws to their fundamentals, it's actually insane.

Also, the fact he isn't strong enough to be able to back down a point guard is another reason why he doesn't get more touches (this doesn't relate to shooting 3s, but shots in general)

We definitely have a fit problem. But, I think the organization made the decision to evaluate everyone throughout the year and playoffs to see who should stay and who should go. They didn't want to give up on any of the young guys yet.

The main playertype they would have traded for is basically who they expected Reed to be out of the gate but he struggled early on.

Yea, I think they will go after Giannis. I can't see Ime budging on his defensive mindset and I think Stone will compromise on age for 30yr old Giannis but not for 37yr old KD.

But, they still would have a perimeter shooting problem if Amen and/or Sengun don't develop a jumper.

He’s not being developed , he actually has all the fundamentals. What I see out there isn’t anything that can’t be worked on

They’re just not focused on developing the young ones

Yes - Bari should have gotten more shots. He should have got more opportunities the entire season as well. The issue is that the Rockets lack a playmaker who can break the defense down to create these looks for Bari. Unless Bari is getting his number called for plays, he is not going to get many opportunities because he cannot create for himself almost at all and within the flow of the 'offense,' the Rockets have a difficult time creating an open look for any of the 'shooters'. Now, I do believe Ime should have run some set-plays to get Bari looks. I recall very few of these during the season, and zero during the playoffs.

Let's see what happens when the Rockets pick-up a bonafide playmaker.

Jabari can shoot well when open. Problem is he can’t get open very often and when he tries to back smaller players down he often loses control or fades away on players 2 feet shorter.

I hope they give this guy an extension this summer because once he understands his role and starts to play more freely, his value is gonna sky rocket. Jabari is the glue that can make all our weird awkward pieces work together.
