For me it's either all in on the current roster and roll into next season with a top 9 of VanVleet/Green/Brooks/Thompson/Sengun/Smith Jr./Whitmore/Eason/Sheppard. Or package it all for stars. With the ladder ( If we go that route looking something like this) Send Sengun/Whitmore/Sheppard to Milwaukee Send Green and Smith Jr. to Phoenix Send Brooks to a team with cap space Send all the 1st rounders and pick swaps needed split between the Bucks and Suns Rockets Get Brooks and Antetokounmpo This would give us a 9 man rotation of (Using current roster, though I'm sure Houston would attract the best veteran players chasing a ring willing to come in cheap) VanVleet/Booker/Thompson/Eason/Antetokounmpo/Adams/Holliday/Jeff Green/Tate
why would you post this? This was bad enough as a comment lol. How are you leaving green on this team and trading Sengun we can move green, picks , whitmore and Tari type package for Giannis and then trade for a real shooting guard to compensate
I kept thinking how different the game would’ve looked with Durant instead of Brooks out there. I think you have to take a look at what Giannis costs but next I would look at Durant. Booker has gotten points in the playoffs too… that’s gotta be the priority.
Resist the urge to go star hunting. Maintain roster continuity. Go bargain hunting for uncut gems on other rosters (e.g., Santi Aldama). Also, go looking for a new shooting coach.
Demote Ime to a defensive coach role and bring in a real head coach. Find a competent SG. Don't pick up FVV's option unless you are throwing him into a trade.

We need better shooting and better pg play, by players improving or trade. Smith needs a handle. Sengun and Amen need shooting. Green needs to be able to beat defenders and double teams. Really hope we can improve on offense without hurting our defense. On one hand I'd hate to gut the team, on the other I hate waiting for player improvement that may or may not come.
We're going to trade Jalen, Reed, Jock Landale, and all of the Suns' picks for Devin Booker. He's already the guy we needed Jalen to be, and those picks are worth more to the Suns than to anyone else. It's the one move that makes the most sense.
