The 23 year old who "leads" my favorite team didn't score enough points in 6 out of 7 games so I'm in the basement drinking until I fall asleep. My wife is crying, begging me to come upstairs and watch A Muppet Christmas Carol with my family. "I don't care if I die tonight" I whisper.
that’s great, as long as you stop volume posting your opinions on draft picks, I’m sure people will accept your apology. We just don’t need a repeat here, clutch fans struggled enough.
This is a drive and kick league at the end of the day. Green after 4 years can only make short passes inside when he drives. I have not seen him drive and kick once properly this whole season honestly. I think it's just over for him, he doesn't have a basketball mind, after four years he can't jump stop in the paint and kick a ball to the outside properly. How many times did he get blocked tonight going full rtard at the rim
Regarding Green, I am genuinely confused how he and Sengun can’t run a simple pick and roll play consistently.
I think you’re confusing me for someone else? I feel like I’ve always tried to be reasonable on my amount of posts and my content.
Well the $1600 to come to Houston specifically for game 7 sure does hurt a f*cking lot right now. I might get to sleep tonight if I just think, it was money spent to ensure Jalen Fraudulent Green never sees a Rocket jersey ever again.
One of two things was going to happen. Jalen was either going to prove once and for all that hes someone we can build around. Or Jalen was going to prove once and for all that we need to move on from him. We got that answer. Trade him this offseason. Addition by subtraction. My fear is that Stone is going to hold out until next season and they're going to swoon again when he scores 45 on the Raptors.
I’m glad you went, because unlike most of us posting here you made the effort to go all the way to Houston to support the boys. I’m just sad that your take on Jalen has been far more accurate than mine, probably from the start.
Also, the **** do I have to apologize for? Rooting for a Rockets player? I’ve never put anybody down when rooting for Jalen to succeed, not ONCE. If you have an issue with some of the other posters, that’s well and good. But don’t take it out on me, I’m just as pissed off as you are. And I will keep sharing my opinion on everything, thank you very much.
I agree, especially now, but it wasn’t on the cards. 1. his dad wanted him to stay away form KPJ and the culture here, so much so that he didn’t even work out for us. 2. I don’t think we would’ve been able to get Alpi in that case, and I’m not sure that Mobley is a better player than him in the system we have.
Scottie Barnes, Franz Wagner......all would be good.....better trade value even. Even Jalen Suggs with his huge defensive potential.
Damn bro, I saw your post earlier and was THIS CLOSE to yolo-ing a trip my damn self. Thank you for your sacrifice
Jalen had two things to master in order to be an elite scorer we envisioned when he was drafted. 1. Drive and kick. Make the right pass when the defense is focused on you. Jalen fans love to rave about his gravity. Gravity is only useful if you can draw the defense and pass to the open teammates for easy shots. 2. Change speed and direction. He has only one speed and one direction: full speed straight to the basket. (His other move is a step back shot which he doesn't make at a high efficiency.) All great scorers know how to use things like hesitation, pump fake, and side steps to keep the defenders on their heels. After 4 seasons, Jalen still hasn't learn these two things.
He didn't work out for the Cavs either...and yet they still made the right pick. They definitely COULD have still gotten Sengun, but I'm not sure they'd have been smart enough to if they got Mobley. Also, if the Rockets make the right pick, they probably win a lot more games, so no Jabari, no Amen.
You can’t put it all on him - first 2 seasons was a wash - Silas years … he was playing off ball and not really given the chance last year March he started to see teams gameplan for him this years playoffs he seen what happens when a team totally focuses on you and you don’t have ball in hand to get a rhythm He needs to work with a vet SG and Kyrie - Cassell - CP3 this offseason … it’s really no need for him to work with Booker or FVV He needs to hire a new shooting coach I’m kind of happy Ant faces GS next, so JG can see how he attacks their schemes - but I expect Randle and Reid to make GS pay…
