ime's rah rah motivation skills can only take you so far. he got replaced in boston and they won a championship. that shows he had an elite roster. after a while, the yelling gets tuned out. that also only works on a young team.

Brooks (22M), Jeff Green (8M), Landale (8M), Tate (8M). 2 of those guys expire this summer and become completely wasted as trade matching salary. Throw in any future 1st even lottery protected and it blows that GSW package out of the water.

Stone when he has to make a transaction that's not the yearly obligated draft pick and the irrelevant 2nd round pick trade at the deadline. I know his kind. He's buying time until he actually has to do something because that's when the clock starts. Until then he can just hide behind youth and wanting this team to have experience. mind you, this experience is going to be a 4 game ass whooping.

If I had the ability to see the future, yeah I am sending Fred and trying to find another PG in a separate deal. That is way easier to say now seeing what Jimmy has done for the Warriors and what Fred has done as well. They will be lucky to win 2 games in this series w Fred, so you are not really losing a ton. This was a much more difficult decision at the deadline, but I am also not the GM. Either you force Amen to figure it out, or make another trade for a PG ( I would have tried to grab CP3 + Butler)

It wasn’t a hard decision at the deadline and Jimmy is a better PG than Fred. We could have just put Jimmy there and have Amen guard the PG spot.

Jimmy is old AF he doesnt fit the timeline. Quit complaining.

This is panic reaction from a team that already over achieved. We shouldnt even be 2nd seed with how young the core is yet here you are crashing out cuz we lost the first game to the goat shooter with Jimmy Buckets and likely DPOY Draymond Green.

Let's move away from the name Stone but what the plan is here......and how to move forward.

I don't give 2 cents if his name is Stone or Rock or Pebble. Fix the Offense.

It sucks we lost game 1 but this GM put together a #2 seed roster ahead of schedule. We should beat GS and be competitive in rd 2. We had a lousy half of bball after taking 2 weeks off. Hopefully our fresh legs figure it out later this week.

This makes no sense considering Fred is old too, plays older than Jimmy and yet there’s no complaints about him being apart of the timeline. No one is advocating for Jimmy to be here on a 5 year contract. But like I said, with fans like this, I see why Stone doesn’t even bother.

No one is complaining about FVV cuz he can be cut. If FVV continues to suck ass guess what he is gone so what is the point crying about him being on the team? If we signed Jimmy we on the hook for him.

Yeah I mean I hope there are fans out there who realize Sengun and Amen wont retire next year so we dont need to panic and crash out for losing in the playoffs.

If you want a team that has zero patience and thinks the world is ending every year jump to the Sixers bandwagon.

I've been down on FVV most of the season - I probably wouldn't have gone after Butler because I really didn't expect to be in this position, in hindsight maybe that's a mistake, at least in the short term. I would have gone after a backup point guard - on the cheap - with an expiring asset or 2nds, not a first round pick.

But really, we didn't and still don't know for the most part what we have in Amen, Jabari & Sengun. We need to know better what we have before we go throwing wrenches into the mix.

GSW gave up a protected crap pick for Butler (good deal for them) we don't have that crap quality pick - we have a lottery pick and it looked that way at the time too - and you can't trade it without acquiring a pick in 26.

Butler isn't a real strong shooter either .... not an ideal fit for a team that starts 3 dudes who can't shoot and a 4th that shoots well every 3rd game or so.

As for CP3 .... no way he came back here after the issues with Tilman. That bridge is burned.

Our draft assets are also very limited - yeah, we have some very valuable assets but they total 7 between now and 2031. None in 26 & two in 27 both of which are potentially lottery picks.

You couldn't have traded this coming draft's #1 pick because we don't have a 26 pick ... the nearest mediocre pick you could have thrown in is the 28 Rockets pick - maybe that's too far out ....and still kinda unknown.

I think those assets are just too valuable to use other than in a swing for the fences star acquisition - or make a couple more early lottery picks when you figure out who stays and who goes.

Not at all mad a Stone for sitting on his hands .... wait for the right deal or make lottery picks.

This. People have no patience luke this is the first year these kids have and suddenly we need to break up the team cuz they lost the first game to a veteran team desperate for a final run.

To me what made it difficult is the manner in which he has left his last 3 teams. He pulled some moves that were very toxic to team culture in Minnesota, Philly, and then he was doing the same to his teammates in Miami. His teammates are actually pretty cool for making jokes about it (see kevin love's IG posts this year), it could have been Cam Whitemore X 10, like I said at the deadline he is like a bomb that eventually goes off, he likely wouldn't have gone off this season, but its only a matter of time. In hindsight, yeah I make that move today.

If he watches this series or the season as a whole and comes to the conclusion that internal development is key to our success then I won't even bother watching next season. This team is deeply flawed and unless they all have an offseason where they add +10 to all their attributes then it's going to be the same result.

If Patrick knows so much what is Tilman waiting for. I’m guessing Patrick will never be put into a fireable position. It will always be someone else’s fault.

A GM built a team that can’t shoot, Jalen and Brooks aka the brick bros as the 2 and 3, no bench scoring from the guard position and decided that he should prioritize getting Cody Zeller and Jaden Springer as dumps during the deadline. What a joke. Stone has always been a dog **** GM.

He can’t even hit on a single 2 way player in how many years? Like the fact that this moron spent a 2 way contract on a 30 year old who never played NBA basketball says enough.
