I was glad when Fetterman beat that ****ing nutjob Dr. Oz.

Of course, Dr. Oz is now the head of CMS as part of the nutjob quack squad that HHS nightmare RFK junior is leading to try to kill us all and poised to do way more damage than he could possibly do as a Senator, so, hmm.... maybe not so glad.

I think both things could be true. I don't doubt that he's lost some staffers who can't get onboard with his vocal, and bloodthirsty, rhetoric on behalf of Israel. I don't know what has happened with other vocally-pro Israel senators like Chuck Schumer's staff, but I would imagine that Fetterman's condition has exacerbated the exodus.

I've seen family members have strokes and sudden personality changes. If he isn't following through with his treatment, I think he is letting his constituents down by not being the best version of himself that he can. Mental health maintenance is especially hard because the patient often thinks they're better and abandon the treatment and meds that were making them "better" in the first place. He doesn't think he's sick at all. Regardless, I expect he'll be primaried by an anti-Israel politician at a minimum and Conor Lamb if the latter thinks it's winnable.

Also can't help but notice that his addictive use of Twitter has coincided with worsening mental health.

You can dislike him - you can find him to be a disgusting POS.

I certainly don't agree with him on Israel/Palestine.

However - that article was a sad hit piece.

I don’t doubt at all he has had issues. He lacks discipline. Having said that I don’t think the article “finishes” him. I don’t really think the article gave me any new information other than confirming my suspicion that his liberal wife disagrees with him on Palestine.

Regardless - he is a weird guy, but he also has a lot of the tools needed to be a populist.

Shameless far left smut as usual. You know once he showed he had a spine and wasn't a walking dead puppet like Biden they would try their best.

If anything , it cements him along with Emmanuel as a frontrunner for me. Haven't seen much from Pritzker but we've long moved away from fat Presidents.

You don't want the losers of nymag fawning over you, John. Keep staying true to yourself and calling out the loser Hamas lovers for what they are

Yeah, this isn't a kill shot, but I am worried for him as a person. The writer's conclusion was dumb. Fetterman knew the hit piece was in but he wasn't 100% recovered to sit through his BS and fixated on the fallout the moment the writer hits the publish button.

Didn't know he rear ended a 60 yr old lady with his wife in the back.

I guess it's gritty for him to bounce back and drive like that. Voters will eat that **** up in likes and survival warrior kit subscriptions.

The Democrats are really trying to eat their own - “bombshell”? Really? Then a video that shows how entitled Fetterman is, but that is about it….

Seems like a real effort from the left to either destroy the guy or push him to the Republicans. Really short sighted and stupid.

They ran out Manchin, who killed an even bigger spending bill out of inflation fears. Economists then thought he was makin **** up and should stay in his lane.

This is why the bottom 65% doesn't trust mainstream media or credentialed muppets who think their struggles are outliers in what "used to be" a Healthy Economy.

Agreed - and there is also a difference between a strong economy at the macro level and a healthy economy at the micro level. The wealth distribution in the USA is abhorrent, and while the Republicans make promises and purposely make it worse - the Democrat leadership outside of a few is too busy worried about pronouns and the President and other distractions.

The old guard of the Democratic Party is trying really hard to not accept that the world is changing - and it is more of a classic "class" struggle and not what the world they grew up in in the 1960's.

Or maybe he's just acting exactly as described and people are publishing news about it because it is newsworthy!

Our senators should not go around rear-ending old ladies, freaking out on planes and having, bizarre episodes possibly related to ongoing mental & physical health incidents.

Just because Trump is a literal sociopath narcissist with severe dementia with zero checks & balances doesn't make it ok. Just because various morons & russian agents & neo nazis pretty much make up the entrirey of the Senate & House GOP doesn't make it ok.

The Democrats "ran out Manichin" - I don't even know what this is intended to mean but I'll bet it's really so profoundly silly it's worth hearing. Type away.

you had no problem with Joe Biden's mental state, and you had none with Fetterman's until he became a staunch supporter of Israel.

there's a name for far-left socialist who hate jews...

Yes - "Bombshell" and "meltdown" are not sensationalist at all.

OMG Fetterman rear-ended a 62-year-old lady (she is only like 7-8 years older than him BTW) on the road and received a citation. Everyone went to the ER to get checked up and was released - sounds like a horrendous and terrible event.

Couple that with him refusing to put on his seatbelt on a plane until the pilot told him to - clearly the man is evil. It shows entitlement for sure, but that is about it.

I am sure this has NOTHING to do with Fetterman's over the top vocal support of Israel, and Fetterman's desire to move the party towards a focus on economic inequality and away from fringe issues.

LOL Where was your gusto about the mental aging and decline of Joe Biden when that was happening? Were you this concerned about Bill Clinton ****ing interns that could barely drink? Of course not.

However - Fetterman getting a ticket, having to be told by a pilot that he needs to put his seat belt on and supporting Israel is some how a "bombshell" and a "meltdown".

The Democrat party of the last 30 years is dying - it is changing. The Nancy Pelosi' of the world and the Chuck Schumer's don't appeal to enough people anymore, their day has come and the sun is setting. The same with all of the Clintonians and even the Obama Democrats. You are too often stuck in that bubble - and that is why you consistently are blindsided when Trump wins, and not just wins - but gains marginal support.

So you can keep restricting the party and progress or you can acknowledge that perhaps you are out of touch now. Most people don't give a **** about 75% of what the Democratic establishment is slinging.

You want to make positive change? Winning elections helps make positive change - making enemies by eating your own is a stupid and short sighted idea.
