Let’s see Draymond for who he is: Fake tough guy Dirty player Yells and curses the refs with no punishment Punches his own teammate And now whines about 3 seconds when they lose
Refs should call illegal screens/defensive 3 when guarding Sengun, should -not- treat Jimmy Butler like he’s one finger tap away from dying when he has the ball. There’s more right?
Draymond shouldn't even be in the league. Just a cheap shot loud mouthed piece of garbage. I don't wish injury on anyone but I'd laugh if he got hurt. He deserves it
There were a few plays I saw on highlights that Adams seemed to be in the paint a while, however, it’s hard to tell if they were illegals because of the zone, he would be guarding an area (in the paint) and then someone drives and he steps up. So now he’s guarding a man and can remain in the paint while the other defender, originally guarding the guy who drove, now kind of defends the space between that man/space and the man Adams left. If that makes sense. so yah, he’s in the paint a while, but I actually think a lot of the time it’s not illegal defense due to the scramble zone. I’m sure refs missed a few, they always do. Not new in 2025.
this team is more ****ign insufferable than the Jazz. Jesus christ, PLEASE PLEASE send their ass home
It’s only illegal if you're in the paint for 3 seconds without being within arm's length of anyone. Once you guard someone, the count resets. From what I saw, Adams was active, kept moving, and didn’t violate. Kerr and Draymond might think otherwise because Adams is so effective. Draymond does the same - he camps but stays active
Exactly my point. But there was one play at least where he wasn’t exactly arms length but even if he was he’d still have remained in the paint. The offensive player was between free throw and 3 point line at the top of the key/elbow area. And Jalen (I think) had started to back off a few steps to the side kind of blocking the passing lane to the guy Adams was originally responsible for. In that case, I don’t know if that is technically a 3 second. He’s definitely further than arms length, but not by a crazy amount and again, the guy was at like 18 feet so Adams would have been in the paint even if he was within arms length. Draymond is a cry baby and should be ashamed for crying to the press, but i think to the players on the court who can’t see from above like we can on tv, it probably does feel like he’s in the paint forever — but as you said, it’s legal and he’s active. he also steps back out often to reset the clock. not really trying to defend Draymond so much as point out how unique and good his defense/Ime’s system has been. He’s legally camping in the paint. And it’s frustrating the hell out of players/coaches because they haven’t been able to solve it or exploit it yet.
Honestly, refs should be calling a tech on Draymond - I'll bet there are more than a handful of times he aggressively approaches them tonight. Even Doris was saying it in game 6 - any other player gets a tech, why does Donkey get such a long leash?
This team is CONSTANTLY complaining about refs. After EVERY game. I barely hear the Rockets players mention it much at all through this series but this team is CONSTANTLY doing it.
I commented on Draymond standing in the middle of the lane forever several games ago. It’s just the Warriors version of the big lie. Accuse your opponents of the exact same evil you are committing. Draymond and Kerr use the media in a passive aggressive way to get any kind of advantage they can get. Kerr tries to act like he is so open minded. Yes, they are raking Curry’s thumb, but it is legal so you live with it (such BS).
This loser should not be complaining. He should get kicked out of almost every game with dirty antics he pulls and the constant yelling and demonstrating in the refs faces yet he barely gets a tech.
LOL. They should call Adams for 3 seconds plus Victor Oladipo. Because that’s literally what we traded for him. https://www.nba.com/news/grizzlies-trade-steven-adams-to-rockets
