"Dont count your chickens before they're hatched". While it "feels" like its winning time, and its a "moral victory" to even get to game 7, Warriors still has Curry, Butler, Draymond. Very high iq, big game experienced, talented players even at old age. And coach Kerr not afraid to mix it up. There will be some chess matching going on.

VanVleet game 7 is the most important player. Warriors shutting down VanVleet could create issues with Rockets. It means Jalen Green has to step up, in elimination game 7, as "The Guy". Anyone have confidence in that? Rockets are already squeezing everything they can out everyone else. Any letup from anyone not FVV will make the game more difficult. Everyone has to bring their A game, no C's & D's from even 1 player. Ime needs to be locked in, too

Cuz of all that, its great that the Rockets are AT HOME. And why Rockets played to get #2 seed. Its exactly what having home court advantage is about.

I agree with this. At least for game 6. Brooks was lowkey costing the team. Trying to win the "attitude edge" game was resulting in untimely fouls & odd plays. I was getting tired of his regressive effect, the foul trouble out the game was relief lol.

My wild guess is Warriors will gameplan for FVV, so its going to need Brooks's outside shooting if Jalen cant step up

I put majority of bench blame on Cam Whitmore, as a theory. That his immature diva attitude is sinking morale of the entire unit behind the scenes. The Christian Wood-lite effect.

Bench is the 'Stay Ready' crew usually. But guess who is the ONLY one of them who does not have stay ready focus?

Can you please explain your reasoning here? I don’t think the Mavs would have been a factor this year with Luka. Nico was right about one thing- they needed a shakeup. But despite the Finals appearance last year, that team has been ****ed since they got him in 2021; if you look at their roster changes they let go of both Brunson and Porzingis after Nico got there. It was inevitable that he would try to turn the team into a 2010’s roster with old, fading stars. What an *******.

Agreed, he’s a hot head. Granted, that fire can be good when he’s in a flow, but sometimes he just gets riled up and needs to be benched. Which was good in game 6.

I agree with everything you’ve said. It’s like the Rockets are still trying to shoehorn Green into this high draft pick role because he was the start of the rebuild. I think he will borderline all star at his peak, maybe sixth man of the year material. But I just don’t see a Cade Cunningham rebound in his future. He just doesn’t seem to have that consistent killer instinct.

However, I was impressed with his all-around intensity in game six. That sort of selfless team play is a path to greatness in my book.

Butler and Podziemski's pink shoes look so lame with their uniforms.
