Chas has to be a prick Either way we need to trade him, he has too much upside to rot on the bench, he is used as a defensive replacement mainly and while he isn’t bad defensively, a guy mainly used for defense should be a defensive stud We could use the roster spot better, and he could find a place he would have a chance to perform. Would be better for both
If not he needs to be at Sugarland playing every day. Sitting half the games now, too young and talented to not be playing somewhere
What the hell Joe !!! I get that Slvarez is hurt. He's also shuffling, so some extra work could potentially benefit Jim. Cool. When Yordan is out, the other bats simply must step up. Giving Paredes the day off MUST wait until Yordan is back in the lineup. And, I understand Dezenxo is having solid ABs and results, but Cam can't have consecutive days off unless he's hurt. He NEEDS reps. I guess this verifies my suspicions that they don't view Dezenzo as able to play 3b. Terrible lineup. AGAIN. Man, it's impossible to go 24 hrs without Espada doing something stupid.
It really is absolutely maddening. The one thing he did fine last year was fill out the lineup card. He can’t even do that right this year.
There’s no chance Joe was going an entire series without playing his lover Dubon even if they thought Dezenzo could play adequate 3B. As for Cam, a smart manager would make sure to get him as many reps as he can’t against a team with bad pitching. Joe sits him for two of the three games.
I would like for Chas to be traded so we don't have to hear this line of discussion any more about him playing more. He's the modern day Matt Mieske. Just let him be a back up outfielder in peace. Jake Meyers over here having a borderline all star appearance start to the season and we still gotta go through this.
