If I recall correctly, Green's kick to Eason's head was part of the same play in which the foul was called. When it's part of a continuation, the referees have some discretion - if they treat it as one continuous act, they can call it a flagrant instead of a technical. Eason’s push, on the other hand, was clearly after the act, so it was called a tech (though it wasn’t really a push- he was just trying to get up while Green’s leg was draped over his shoulder, so he pushed it off).

However, Green’s kick was very forceful. It hit Eason’s neck and caused his head to hit the floor. While we can't say for sure if it was intentional (his history suggests it very well could have been), it was dangerous. I think it should have been a Flagrant 2 for that reason alone.

In yesterday’s game, when Green went after Jalen’s neck and pushed through, causing him to hit the floor - that absolutely was intentional, and it could have caused an injury. I think that also should have been a Flagrant 2.

Draymond Green’s flagrant behavior should not be given the benefit of the doubt given his history.

 

I wonder if someone has compiled a video of all of Draymond's intentional flagrant acts and sent to the league. Make it viral so that they can't turn a blind eye to it or they lose all credibility.
