Remember when people said FVV was overpaid and we had a young star PG in KPJ?

For me, both Fred and Dillon are incredibly important to the success of the Rockets right now. The way they approach the mental side of the game is something that helps the young guys in a big way.

I’ve read so many on this board always clamoring to trade both these guys. How you feeling now?

Let’s see what happens when they focus on FVV like they have been JG. I’m expecting a terrible FVV game. Green needs to step up.

 

The only truth in there was KPJ was young once upon a time.

 

The best was ‘kpj should be paid similar to brunson’ arguing that if kpj played with Luka he would have produced similarly. Look at where Brunson is now and where kpj is.

FVV is overpaid. That part is true.

He's had some good games recently, but it doesn't change the fact that he's not a 40 million dollar player.

 

I remember the Fred being overpaid stuff. Love what he's done these last few games, but he's still overpaid at this point. I don't recall many people saying KPJ was the star PG. Even so, we've all gotten some right and some wrong. The stuff we were wrong about or dead f'n wrong about isn't going to stop us all from saying future things that will be wind up being stupid and wrong.

 

Remember when people said “Jalen is numero uno” and “Jalen should be the all-star” and “Sengun is bad at defense” and “Sengun is numero dos”?
