    The big man is essential to this team for the next 2-3 years. Make him untouchable until then.

    Dude has probably made himself an extra 20-30 million with this series. He deserves it — credit to Stone for the trade and to the whole staff for the gameplay to work him in.

    Kind of crazy to think the double big lineup wasn’t even used till the last 20% of the season.

    Agree! This needs to be the blueprint moving forward. Get a 3rd big man with a similar skill set & presence as Adams to spread the load and unleash him in crunch time and playoffs.

    Had Ime even attempted it prior to that asswhooping in the first half at Dallas in AD's first game with the Mavs? It's kinda crazy that it came about out of desperation. Maybe that 6 game losing streak was a blessing in disguise.

    We say Ime is stuborn but I believe he is generally not fond of playing zone so it took out of the box thinking for Ime to play zone with double big line up.

    Been a lifelong Steven Adams fan. Whatever they did to his knee and his rehab ordeal, this version of Adams is like the bionic man. He’s much more explosive and seems like he is stronger as if that’s even possible. We took a chance and we hit the jackpot with Steven Adams.

    Integral. Definitely a core piece. I don't think this works without Sengun tho. You can't just put two bigs in there. They're both intelligent bball guys. One stronger on the glass the other a point center.

    It is about matchups, and he may be playing his way into a fat new contract as a starting Center elsewhere.....just enjoy the season.....

    Even after he gets older and more unplayable, he needs to have a Udonis Haslem role.
