Usually players much better in contract years but with Framber…I can see the opposite happening with the pressure getting to him mentally. He’s that mentally fragile.
Doesn't the opt out only apply if he is in the minor leagues and the team won't put him on the MLB roster? It's a shame they don't have a real 2b, so they can DFA him. I think the experiment is done.

No. Once he is selected to the active roster all that goes out the window. He signed a minor league contract. All those terms are just if he's in the minors
