this narrative is just not true anymore. Our best lineup is the double big with Amen. Like we play 3 non shooters and it works just fine.

They own a lot of future assets from Denver and Dallas. Those could potentially be really good picks so I'm not sure what you are saying. Kyrie and AD are both old and have had major injuries. Dallas might be one of the worst teams in a few years.

Denver has been in a free fall ever since wining and their ownership has proven to be cheap. Rumors swirling about Jokic leaving and if he does those picks are $$$.

Or they can go 3 way trade and go all out on picks.........and probably Reed and Whitmore.

If they can get Portland into it.......target Avdija.......

The denver picks are all top 5 protected, denver could 100% guarantee to keep them if they want

Giannis is future HOFer and arguably the best player in the world. The idiocy of you to think hes not worth Sengun says more about how stupid SOF are. The delusion

Can't we all just deal with this after we swipe Curry's thumb for 2 more games?

Sure in an isolated situation because our best form of offense against Golden State is to miss shots & get rebounds

The double big is copium for the fact that the offense can't generate quality looks and goes into the toilet vs a zone

It's ok in spots and to force matchups. But to build a whole team around would be like PJ Tucker as your 82 game starting center for several years - it's not feasible

They have one good Dallas swap. Jokic ain’t going anywhere. The rest are heavily protected. I guess the Milwaukee pick is good in a trade for Giannis. Our picks are way more valuable. In terms of value, the Spurs are the only one that rivals us in terms of picks, but I’m not sure what players would entice them.

The most hilarious thing is the SOF's going absolutely mental at anybody who says they'd trade a 1 x all-star 20ppg player for a 2 x MVP 30ppg player, without considering that many of us (like myself) would prefer if we could get Giannis without trading Sengun, that's just not the question posed in the thread...Y'all are bunny boilers for real. Scary ass weirdos.

The double big lineup is good cuz of defense. The offense is bad either way, it works cuz of defense.

You also acting like we didn't utilize it every game down the stretch starting with Mavs game against AD and it was effective against all opponents. It's not just the warriors.

What would this package look like from us? Sengun is clearly the centerpiece

Considering the Athletic has been anti-Houston since the Yankees were knocked out of the playoffs in 2015...

The only thing I missed is Jalen being the only star because Amen hadn't emerged yet. You’re obsession with Sengun is concerning me tho. In your head Sengun's the Turkish Michael Jordan. You definitely need a wellness check

I'll always take a proven commodity over possible potential. I mean the possibility that Sengun will be better than Giannis is pretty slim imo... I'll take the shorter window on somebody who's proven that they can climb the mountain.

Giannis alone isn't going to win a championship...

We also can't give up everything just for him because we don't have our own franchise superstar yet.

OKC and Spurs are both in a better position to land Giannis. They already have their own franchise player in Wemby and SGA so they can trade their warchest for Giannis.
