It is but dude has to play.....he has to realize that every minute of playing time could be one of his last..... He loves the Rockets for sure but dude has to realize he is also an NBA player who is getting older every day...... Got to protect himself and his playing time first and foremost.
Tate has certain limitations, I like the dude and he plays the game the right way. He obviously has game, but he lacks elite talent in any area of his game to warrant time over the guys playing ahead of him. Maybe he knows that coaching is in his future and learning as much as he can. But if he wants to chase playing time, he may need to go overseas to guarantee actual time on the court. But there may be some teams that will include him in the rotation, as he seems to be very coachable.
Perhaps, good point, I think that Udoka might not be the best example. He is extremely one sided. If he wants to be better at coaching, he has to be mentored by an Offensive coach as much as a Defensive coach.
