True. Lakers are sending hard doubles at Ant every time he touches the ball. Obviously Jalen would crumble to that kind of pressure.

Ant was blowing that Lakers defense up in the previous games regardless of the double teams though... he still hasn't found his groove in this game yet.. which is big trouble for the Lakers

Ant making the right plays and his team is benefitting because of it.

But he's still been efficient because he's 4-6 from the FT line. Highest +/-, leading in asst, 0 turnovers, second in pts, leading in stls and 2nd in rebounds (only 2 behind Gobert)

Really the only thing he's doing like Jalen is not shooting well from the field. I'll put it this way...He's not going to play himself off the court and be benched by his head coach lol.

Just made the Jalen comment because Ant's shooting so far in this game has been meh and he's been a bit passive on the fast break...I know he's nothing like Jalen whatsoever haha. But yea, he's not forcing anything and is letting the game come to him - love his mentality and the way he plays the game.

 

I hope the Doncic slander continues so he can opt out and leave the Lakers high and dry with no star to build around.

You have to dedicate your entire team to a player like Doncic. I would not build a team around him because it is so hard to win a championship, and I don't like heliocentric offenses, but if you have him, you have to build a team like that.

I think he's just letting his teammates get off right now but if the game gets close in the end he'll be more aggressive. No need to force stuff right now when they're kinda just in cruise mode.
