You are absolutely right, they are not the star players people complain about.

 

Uh we still won the game with the starters playing really well, so there’s a lot to be happy about.

Amen is here, folks. I think he figured it out. Jalen’s stat line isn’t great but he played with a **** ton of energy to start the game off and was a big reason we went up early—he didn’t look quite right after his knee tweak, but I think that won’t be an issue next game. Alpi almost had a triple double and didn’t even seem like he tried that hard. Our three vets were incredibly impactful and efficient—and this time our young guys stepped up to the plate too.

It’s a good win. Yes Holiday played bullshit ball for a bit, but the reason he got such a long leash at all was because of how big of a lead our actual rotation guys built.

I’m happy we get to see more Rockets ball. Regardless of the result next game, I love that they took it to the Warriors this game, and gave our fans a show. And if we win next game? Steve Kerr will be regretting his decision to not capitalize on the Holiday lineup

 

I think it's very important for the youngsters get another baptism of fire at Oracle.

It also isn't just about winning and losing Game 6. The opportunity to test themselves yet again vs. a smart, seasoned team in a hostile environment is a concentrated dose of experience they need.

I hope nobody is worrying the flak at the end will somehow create additional motivation for the Warriors Friday. It won't.

He IS under-utilized.....Ime undervalues him. 15 minutes ? Are you kidding ? With their scrubs whipping us like they owned us. Tari and Holiday as well as Adams played more. 25 O rebounds to our 8 ..anyone want to rebound ?

 

The only takeaway from this game is that you don’t pull starters with a whole quarter left in the modern NBA. Everybody knows this.

Outside of that, whether we won by 50 or 1 makes no difference. There’s no ****ing momentum either way. The Warriors starters were embarrassed. They are going to come out on their home court with a **** ton of energy. It’s possibly better that we had to work a little bit in the 4th rather than coast.

 

The GS starters couldn’t have played better than their bench up until they missed a putback and started a scuffle. They scored almost every time down the court. Then we got 3 free throws and went back up 16.

If they hit the put back to go down to 11, I think their starters go back in.

 

One game at a time. One more win to scare the absolute **** out of GSW and their bandwagon fans.

Yeah, nobody on that team cares about their garbage time players lol. All that will be forgotten this time tomorrow.

I'm glad we at least took these b*stards to 6. Would love to beat them in San Francisco, but I know it's going to be tough.

 

Yeah because everyone expects them to win. We are young enough to really have no pressure this time around.

 

You don’t just punt a game in the playoffs. That will throw off their rythm

 

Regardless of what happened tonight, Rockets are going to see the absolute best of the Warriors Friday. They will spare no effort to win because they don't want to come back to Houston.
