Reed Sheppard is the Rockets’ Franchise Player™

Some folks are quite delusional to think a rookie who was sht like 95% of the season could b thrown into the team during playoffs and be the difference maker.

I think fvv is sht and a main reason for us losing in playoffs but reed aint saving us this season.
Hopefully he outplayed fvv for starting positon next season or we don't resign fvv altogether

 

Not necessarily a difference maker. But a couple of timely 3s from Sheppard, especially one from Curry distance, would have changed some things up. Depending on matchups though Curry would have destroyed him. I mean Reed was in the single digits in age damn near, when the Warriors started their dynasty so he'd be star struck

 

Not sure why the coaching staffs do not pay attention to Tari's baseline ignorance as a professional player. It is not pickup ball, it is ****ing playoff. His reckless serving cost us a possession in Game 3, and hopefully he won't repeat this dumb mistake.

 

Reed could definitely be a difference maker. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong. So could Cam. They both have the ability to help the team.

Of course they could also come in and completely **** the bed. That would be very much in play as well.

But to completely rule out any chance (no matter how small you think it is) of them having a positive impact is stupid.

But its moot anyways. Neither are seeing playing time that matters until next year, unless (knock on wood) theres injuries.

 

I am so ****ing pissed off that the org didn't play him all year to get him ready, what a ****ING disgrace as a plan......same for Cam.

Unless a trade is made, there just won't be many minutes for Cam next year either. Ime will keep playing the same guys. Stone needs to make a move.

Love the guy but I think any offensive contribution he could make would be negated our outweighed by the Warriors hunting him on D. Wish he had played more during the season.

Sadly I think the roster construction and coaching decisions have basically trapped us into depending on Green to have a good game to succeed in the playoffs. I'm cautiously optimistic that will be different next season.

 

That 2nd round rookie Post could get tons of playing time in Playoffs while our 3rd pick did not get even 1 minute.

Ime is wasting our talents.

 

Reed is the future. Hes gonna put on some weight and work on defense. I loved him tearing up the clippers.

 

If Fred forgets how to shoot again yet again tonight, Ime should turn Reed loose.

 

Don't hold your breath. Even if (huge IF) Ime had a sliver of consideration to benching Fred, he'd think of playing Holiday before Reed, and I couldn't say I'd disagree with him.

 

Reed is near 44/49 FG% after the All Star break

Yes its on fewer sporadic minutes than pre ASB. But Reed has shot well in most all situations. More like the "steady ready" Aaron Holiday consistent makes than just in 1 game flashes. More encouraaging that he's ascending up now , than if he flashed early and went in the crapper later

But too late now this season. Next year

 

He was terrible on offense and defense.... but his coach played him anyway.

Castle has Ime to thank for the only award he'll ever win.
