The USA is a consumer economy - not a producer --- and while there are some problems with that, it is overall by far the best economy in the world. Americans do not have a stomach for what MAGA and their weird Vance wing of the party wants to do.
In the C I G Nx model of GDP I do prefer the US move away from C and into I. These are crazy times man
This is what happens when you vote for a convicted felon who's filed bankruptcy 7 times to "fix" the economy. We deserve it
You say we , but unless you lived in about 10 specific states , your vote didn't matter. We are not the only ones failing ourselves , but we did fail nonetheless . Let's see if we pick ourselves back up
its almost comical. I cant even imagine how they will write about these last 10 years or in the history books generations from now....
Predictable as hell - Subaru moving auto production OUT of the US & Indiana to serve the Canadian market In 2024, Subaru sold 68,043 cars in Canada, with 26 percent of them or 17,700 vehicles, coming from the USA. Thanks to Donald Trump’s new round of tariff games, Canada now imposes a 25 percent tax on cars built south of the border. In response, Subaru is shifting production for Canadian-bound models out of the US to save itself some cash. It’ll just end up costing America millions. By the time the 2026 model year begins for Subaru, it’ll produce just 10 percent of its Canada-bound cars in the U.S. “With that, we can minimize the impact of the counter surtax,” said Tomohiro Kubota, Subaru Canada’s CEO, who spoke to Autonews Canada. For now, production of the Outback for the Canadian market will continue in Lafayette, Ind., but that will shift to Japan in the near future.
LOL you spent the past 4 years spamming these forums crying about inflation (which every country was dealing with post covid) claiming democrats were out of touch bcz they didn't realize how high prices were killing the working class. Suddenly now that your orange messiah has destroyed the economy from his braindead tariffs you continue to kiss his ass. Theres literally nobody on these forums that's a bigger dipshit than you. You represent everything wrong with America. Low iq individuals cosplaying as intelligent cuz they scroll through Twitter.
Things are not good at the Whitehouse house. Comments will keep him toasty on his plane ride back. His vote wouldn't have made much of a difference anyways.
Depends who is writing the history books. Honestly, I'd like to see him put in the Guiness Book of World Records for the US President who has told the most lies while in office. It has to be over 50,000 if you include his first term.
the latest from the 78-yr convicted felon, subject to change in an interview with conservative extremists NewMax, Trump says tariffs politically risky, but he’s not rushing deals "not rushing deals", not until the shelves in stores are empty? in the same interviews, the dotrad continues to gas light, "this is still Biden's economy, 100 days into Trump 2.0," "lots of things have happened since the election", like another ill-conceived tariffs
How long will he keep telling everyone his own version of the story, where everybody thinks he's doing a great job? My guess is until the day he dies. Those A's he was given crack me up. That's absurd.
They are the cultists that would still support Trump if he shot someone on 5th Avenue. We have a few of them on this board.
Buddy, the people who voted for him and will ride or die with the insanity aren't reading history books.
The Senate vote to repeal the tariff was defeated, while the House vote is blocked. A bipartisan measure to undo Trump's global tariffs fails in the Senate Republicans block House of Representatives vote on Trump tariffs
