If you can some how trade some combination of current players and draft picks for TWO superstar players (any players looking to join forces for a super team?) I think you absolutely explore it. If it’s only (1) superstar, I think you need to be a little more careful how many of your trade pieces you give up if it’s KD or even Giannis. Now if Ant Edwards or Jokic become available, that’s a different conversation

Trade Green and Sengun for star(s)....and put them around Jabari, Thompson, Eason and maybe Sheppard. These guys are perfect complaint players that can thrive next to a star or two. At this point, I don't think Green can net us a star...so if Sengun can net us someone like Giannis...you have it do it.

Too much for Durant, but I agree with the sentiment. Green and 2 picks can you get a younger star maybe Coby White or Trae Young (can’t believe Trae has changed my mind, but he became a team player this past year). Philadelphia is going to get desperate soon or later so Maxey might actually become available if Morey gets fired.

I’d rather springer in a KD vs. over spending on a Giannis. See how this teams responds next season with a KD and make whatever big name trades you have to make before extensions kick in for everyone

 

Maxey would be amazing! I can get behind Coby White or Trae Young instead of Durant for Green and picks and then Giannis for Sengun and picks.

 

I voted Green but its actually Green and Alpi for me.

The return is going to be maxed out value-wise, unlike any of the others listed.

Amen can play any position but his is the Rocket's future PG. The rest of the lineup, yes are mostly PFs and SF who can play different positions. Rockets can always sign a center or backup PG who can play also be plugged in. A team with Giannis and KD could attract other vets to sign here.

 

I think we need to be done with guards who can't shoot. Amen's a 3, maybe a 4. He can't even shoot as well as Jalen, you realise that right?

 

We have a bunch of 23 yr old and younger guys the fact they already got 2nd seed despite being so young does show you the ceiling is high. The oldest young players havent even reached their prime.

Why are you acting like they peaked already? You realize the only guy they added is Steven Adams and the team went from 0.500 to 2nd seed? That bmeans the team isn't done growing and developing which is def the case since they are all really young.

You tried to tell us the roster was limited? Did you tell us they would get 2nd seed? Or you just expected 30 wins and the team shattered your projections and you just moved your goalposts???

Anybody who tried to tell us something but didn't predict a 2nd seed in the preseason doesn't know ****. If you can't predict the regular season how do you even know the ultimate ceiling of this team 3 yrs from now? Yoou were already wrong from the start.

 

Amen can guard 1s and 2s, though. Ideally, the Rockets would get another big guard that can shoot which would force the Curry's of the world to have to guard someone that can post them up.
