I agree it's his first playoff exposure and he's in his own head. If he has another breakout game the narrative will change again. Harden disappointed us so much we knew it was coming and still cheered for him. Plus the GSW are former champions and they game plan well. Let's see how he responds.

The problem is that Jalen’s contract is nearly three times the size of Reaves’. LAL would have to throw another $20M on top of it to make the salaries work. I’d be willing take on one year of Maxi Kleber and Gabe Vincent to get out from under Jalen’s contract. I think that’s actually a pretty fair trade.

Yeah. I don’t really consider throw-ins when I say straight up. There are very few trades you can’t make happen as long as both teams are under the second Apron.

Anyone previously worried that Jalen would explode on another team if traded can put that notion to rest. He is who he is.

Let’s just have him waste another year doing the exact same thing (ie chasing 40 year olds instead of focusing on basketball). Have been watching him for months now and he’s not going to get better. Hes hit his ceiling offensively.

He tore his acl in the same leg a few years back. Add that to the Achilles rupture, with his game being predicated on athleticism….he’s likely done on his previous level.

Agreed, but we still can't ever send him to the Warriors. Their luck/voodoo will flip it and I guarantee you he WILL become Michael Jordan 2.0 and then they'll get traded ****ing Ant as well and we'll never, ever beat them again

Thats a problem. I think the GMs will understand that's his ceiling. But if they are trying to rebuild I think it's easiest enough to say to the fans "Jalen Green avgs 24 pts game! We also bagged 1 (or 2) picks! And [insert whoever (Booker)] wasn't going to stay anyway!"

Not unlike the narrative around John Wall coming to Houston. I know most of you folks didn't believe Wall would be anything but I still believe in Santa Clause. Part of being a fan, for me, is drinking ALL the Kool-Aid. Oh Yea!

I think even with the playoff performance, which only Rockets fans care about and Warriors fans say they care about but don't watch, the new teams fans will just be looking at the regular season stats. Jalen looks pretty good then.

I might’ve been dumb in my initial offer, but the Suns aren’t saying no to Jalen + All PHX picks for KD.

If that’s what it takes to get KD, we should pass

Or maybe it’s just they have a coach that could figure it out. We don’t have a coach that can elevate anyone on the offensive side of the ball. I guess in his mind, he has elevated FVV to god-like stature.

They would not need Jalen, they would get traded Flagg, Luka, etc.......

The Bay Area is still pretty darn attractive to players.

IIRC they are one of the franchises on good terms with the Fakers and surprise Mavericks, so they can swap players.

Jalen gotta let that sh*t fly and stop having only 10FGA each game. He had 38 when he shot 25 times. He’s gotta adapt that Anthony Edwards mentality

    Game 1) 22pts on 22FGA

    Game 2) 25pts on 22FGA

    Game 3) 29pts on 26FGA

    Game 4) 43pts on 23FGA

    Game 5) 15pts on 19FGA and 0-11 from 3

Jalen needs to adapt this mentality but yall would be calling for his head if he had those same stats

Nah. It’s the single digit performances that are the problem. Harden used to have off games all the time, but you would look up at the end and he would have 20 points. He found ways to be effective when his shot wasn’t falling. Jalen should never have 8 points in a game. He should get that on free throws alone. Attack the rim on off shooting nights.

We have enough young talent on our team, screw them picks. It's time to elevate to the next level! If LeBron can still dominate games at 40, I'll take KD at 37 if it means just giving up Jalen/Cam/Suns picks

Please no. When his shot is off he does not need to force things. Green is not Ant. When he is on he can let it fly.

He has low BBIQ, he has a poor handle and he is not that strong. I think those all add up to his problems with consistency and turnovers. He had that big game when Butler was out and there wasn't really a strong defender. They've put the clamps on him since. We need someone that can dribble, make good decisions and score at the end of the game no matter what. He isn't that. To me Cam has the potential to become a starting SG. Kid is only 20 and looks like a dominant physical force who can get his shot whenever he wants - current decision making aside. Maybe we get a Grimes or Sexton and keep grooming Cam?

Stop overvaluing Cam...he's one dimensional: score first ball-chucker
