I hope the one with blubaugh up is to fire taylor Scott into the sun to make room on both the 40 and 26. I sort of doubt that, but whatever. and yes- I know Scott had a great night last night. Which will just make Espada give him more leverage.
Scott has no options. They will give him an extremely long leash because of the success he had last year. Someone who doesn't deserve it is getting sent down. Most likely it will be VanWey
I’m aware of his lack of options. That’s why I’d like him traded or released. Sending down VanWey only fixes half the problem, we need a spot for blubaugh on both the 26 man roster and the 40 man roster.
I consider is fairly likely that Houston trades away at least one controllable out of options RP between now and July, whether that’s Scott, Whitley, Sousa, Ort, or Dubin.
Nick Hernandez would be my guess for making room on the 40 man. They could also put Trammell on the 60 day IL.
There’s already an opening on the 40 man. Van Wey is really the only option on the 26 man unless they put Wesneski on the IL.
Yea. It looks like they are okay on the 40 man. VanWey probably goes down today. Then when they activate McCullers Blubaugh will just be sent back down, and when Dubin is activated I would think Sousa gets sent down since he is on his final option year. If/when Whitley comes back it will get a little weird. Gusto will probably have to go down.
Well that works out, since Abreu had pitched 2 days in a row. Houston can send Blubaugh down after today’s game and bring up an extra RP until McCullers’ start comes up.
