    The Amazon move? Putting the tariffs next to the cost of the item. And they’re not even doing it.

    Amazon (AMZN) is denying reports that it will display the impact of tariffs next to the price of products on its e-commerce site that drew the ire of the Trump administration on Tuesday.

    According to Washington Post reporter Jeff Stein, Amazon said it was never considering adding the additional cost caused by tariffs next to the price of goods on its main website, but rather was contemplating doing so on its low-cost Amazon Haul site.

    Earlier on Tuesdsay, Punchbowl News reported that Amazon would show tariff-related price increases on goods. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called the move "a hostile and political act."

    Amazon stock was off 1% in early trading.

    Amazon already walked this back, and I would’ve been shocked if they actually did something like this with the way Bezos has bended the knee

    but all retailers and businesses should do this…we need full transparency

    Tariffs are a good thing right? The other country pays the tariff right? Isn’t that what the Trump admin keeps telling us?

    Idk why we’re dancing around the issue…automakers like Toyota talking about their commitment to keep prices low in the wake of what they say are “unprecedented times” in that commercial they’ve been running non-stop…U mean in the wake of Trump’s tariff policies? Say it with your chest

    It would be smart for Amazon to list the tariff, that way they can just remove it when Trump gets completely bent over by China.

    Its all theatre with Bezos, he wont do anything. But to be honest this is the way any company should do it, it just makes sense but the WH is mad because it sheds light on this idiotic move by trump...................what an overreaction by the snowflakes in the trump admin, Bezos will bend the knee on ANYTHING to appease trump. I think it's funny that these billionaires' boys club just end up being cucks like rubio, zuck, cruz........the list goes on and on...................are these the "alpha" males I keep hearing about :D
