I think there is a chance if they re-injure Butler but a chance to tie the series but not win the series. Rockets still being sort of inconsistent on the road .......is what makes this too hard to overcome that they lost Home Court in the 1st furkin game.
Eh, one game at a time. At least they put up a fight lol. But hey, a nice convincing win at home would be nice...I mean just getting out to a big lead early and having the Warriors throw in the towel for game 5.
Not really, a blowout would put Butler and Curry to enough rest and that is what they want....to close out in front of their fans. Obviously 1st option for GSW is to win at TC but Plan B is to close out at Home.....might also be Plan A Minus. Both teams have a harder time winning on the road, the first team that does...(GSW) has an advantage.
This is a dangerous thought though, anything can happen in one game, that's how the Rockets have to approach it. The Warriors should be trying to close out game 5, but if you blow them out then your guys also get rest and some momentum. You get it to game 6 and you just take a anything can happen mentality to get it to Game 7 and at home.
That is why I don't think they win unless GSW fully chokes or implodes.... It takes too much effort to win 2 games and then GSW can still rest a little and go another tier with Butler or hot Curry. Your take on the Rockets is fine, I just view it from the other side whose cast is 50% champions from 3 years ago.
Rockets will win Game 5. Game 6 is the one though. If they can pull off at least 1 win in GS, Game 7 would be a toss up
It's not over, but there's maybe a 5% chance the Rockets come back. I do think they can win Game 5 if Jalen shows up, but I don't like their chances in Game 6. The one advantage they have is that now the series goes to games being played every other day. That benefits a younger team like the Rockets.
I think fans are sometimes delusional when it comes to being down 3-1. The last real time was the Cavs? I don’t count that Nuggets bubble comeback.
I like your optimism, usually I’m optimistic myself, but it’s hard to see our guys come back to take the series. I hope they’ll put up a fight and win in game 5, and maybe then I will develop some optimistic thoughts about our chances. Right now they just looking bad..
It's not over, but let's be honest, they haven't shown us any reason to believe that they can magically pull it all together now either. I think they win game 5. Let's just start with that...
All these games have been winnable, so I'm not quitting on the team yet. Is there a special prize for who can be a fairweather fan fastest? First to declare it a loss gets to be hall monitor or something? Weirdo energy.
