If Jalen Green is back with the Rockets next season I'm boycotting.

Eh. Let's just see how things work out.

I'd trade Jalen too, but the price has to be right. I'd rather roll with Jalen for instance than trade him for LaVine like some wanted.

I do think though we really should be giving Jabari more shots. I hate the "Yeah he can't dribble" stuff, Dirk couldn't either. I promise you Jabari would be averaging 20 plus per game just on exploiting mismatches on the midrange and being schemed open for three if he played for any other playoff team. Send Jabari to the Heat and give him to Spo and watch him become an all-star.

I really feel like we're wasting him.

    Jalen FG% 42.3% 3pt 35.4%
    Cam FG% 44.4% 3pt 35.5%

Cam with average 9.4 pts in 16 mins.
Isn't good for 20 year old? Lol
Cam has flaws, but he is playing good.

I watch the games. He is a black hole on offense. He only looks to get his. He doesn't move the ball or see the court. When the ball touches his hands it might as well be 1 on 5. On defense he doesn't exist. Completely clueless and he doesn't even try except trying for steals to get a fast break. He's not a good player.

If he can make shots, he's not black hole.

Black hole means you keep bricking on offense.

Yeah and then we will have problems affording everyone else after 2 yrs cuz his next contract starts at 60M lol.

Nah. I am as disappointed with Jalen as everybody else but Booker was never the answer.

I agree. So far Cam has been better than rookie and 2nd year Jalen.

The thing I like about Cam is he is very aggressive all the time and he doesnt settle for fade away shots. I rather a guy keep driving and lose the ball from time to time then play soft and shoot contested mid range jumpers all game.

    He can make shots
He can make shots against guys who will be selling insurance in a year. He's not playable. Ime is stubborn and he should put Reed in but Cam sucks. We can agree to disagree

this is the way I feel. I was down on Jalen years 2&3. I did not buy into the March explosion last season because it was followed by a really bad month that no one seemed to acknowledge, and he couldn’t shoot over 33% from 3. This season every aspect of his game improved and he shot 35%. He also sustained good play the vast majority of the season. But these really significant lapses, the inconsistency…I’ve never seen it to this degree of magnitude with a player. I honestly don’t know what to do with that. It’s not supposed to be like this going into year 5.

If I’m a betting man I think this front offices gives him another year. They can’t seem to quit Jalen. And I get that he’s a special talent. I would have moved on after last season, but this season gave me hope I was wrong. Or was I?

What’s concerning is the front office looked at nail polish boy and decided to extend him for massive money. Not worth it.

Bro no just no. Green can go without a doubt. This is goons first playoff and he’s showing up. If you want to be bottom tier again go be a hornets fan you’ll never be disappointed then

Can you explain what this boycott entails? I would like to get a good picture of what to expect next year.

Cam also hasn't had perpetual hand holding that Jalen has so its hard for him to get the opportunities that Jalen experienced. Cam is just a product of circumstance and its unfortunate.

Correction. He needed to step up on game 1. He very well could bounce back next game though. Let me explain mental pressure and how it works. Rockets are down 3-1 so the expectation is the series is over and Jalen knows this. He now has the freedom from the burden of expectation therefor he has a much higher chance of doing good next game. If we do win next game and Jalen pops off then that pressure will be back on because its now 3-2 and the narrative shifts. So you are right, he very well could have a bounce back game next game, followed by another stinker if we win.

I'm not defending Jalen. He's been abysmal outside of one game and he's wildly inconsistent. Cam just isn't a good player. Maybe he puts it together but his faults are the same everywhere. No thanks to putting him in the rotation. Maybe we find a team dumb enough to take him in a trade
