What a sequence of events for Lillard. Hate the player, but never wish any injury on anyone. Hope he recovers safely. His career might be on the decline now. Not a max player anymore.

I think he has two more max years left.

Bucks might as well hit the reset button. Get young players and picks for Giannis.

    Come down to H-Tine, Giannis.

With the typical timeframe on achilles injury, I'm guessing Damian is not even going to play next year.

They definitely don't have much flexibility. I bet Doc Rivers is on his way out. I imagine it should be his last job in the NBA as a head coach.

At his age, it will be tough to come back, Kobe did it, Durant did it, so it can be done, but man, this sucks for him.

Kobe was ass, though. Somewhat similar players, but a lot shorter. Oof.

Can't fault Giannis at all for wanting to move on now. They simply can't compete with Dame taking up this much cap room.

Any chance Giannis could just sign with us? :)

I feel he will demand a trade this off-season and this is the year to go after him. All in.

The worst thing that can happen to an athlete is to tear an Achilles in the playoffs. It's ~year before they can return to action and then it takes another year to actually return to form (which may not happen).

Dame will be 35 in July.

The whole Bucks thing hasn't gone well for him. He'll do the year of rehab but ultimately I think Dame takes his $112 million due the next two years and leaves the NBA.

    From the Bucks standpoint,

1 Trading Holiday for Dame killed the franchise.

2 Hiring a complete joke like Adrian Griffin as head coach was like sticking a fork into the dead franchise.

3 Allowing Griffin to fire assistant coach Terry Stotts (who would have succeeded him) was like throwing gasoline on the franchise because it forced the Bucks to hire and pay a washed out Doc Rivers $40 million for nothing.

4 Dame's Achilles tear is the match that burns the whole thing to a crisp.

I've maintained all along Giannis wanted to finish his career with the Bucks but it's probably time to leave.

Dame was shooting 22% on all FGs, 19% of 3's... So you might have a point about addition by subtraction.

But no way are the Bucks winning 3 in a row.

Give MKE the ****ing moon (within reason of course) this off-season and bring Giannis to Houston. We're one of maybe 3 teams that actually have the assets to go get him, outside of total and complete corruption and collusion. With that being said, we all know he's going to the Lakers or Heat. **** this league.

The blood clot situation could have ended his career and would threaten beyond......

I mean yeah this is bad .....he still has a chance to play professional basketball.
